The configuration combining a 100mm bowl pedestal with the DL-10RB Compact Dolly forms the base of the official Libec P110S Compact Pedestal System (Studio version).

This setup is engineered for mid-to-heavy television studio environments and broadcast workflows, handling midrange camera packages, small box lenses, and teleprompter rigs up to a maximum total payload of exactly 30 kg (66 lbs).

System Component Breakdown & Studio Integration

1. The Mount: 100mm Native Bowl Interface

Unlike larger broadcast pedestals that feature flat 4-bolt plates, the top casting of the P110 column sports a native 100mm bowl. This allows you to drop in high-end 100mm broadcast fluid heads (such as the Libec RHP75 or LX10) directly without using flat-to-bowl adapter adapters. This makes it quick and easy to level your rig using the head's half-ball tie-down knob before pressurizing the column.

2. Vertical Control: The P110 Pneumatic Column

  • Double-Bearing Stabilizer System: Libec integrates a high-precision double-bearing framework around the base joints of the column. This completely counteracts micro-wobbles or physical swaying when performing rapid "on-air" manual vertical transitions.

  • On-Air Stroke Mechanics: The 2-stage column splits elevation duties between an air-pressurized upper stage for smooth manual adjustments via the steering ring, and a lower manual stage for anchoring your baseline height.

  • Safe Air Tuning: The internal pneumatic tank is filled using a high-capacity manual pump (included). A mechanical pressure gauge monitors the column, backed by an integrated safety relief valve that automatically dumps excess air to prevent over-pressurization.

3. Floor Movement: The DL-10RB Compact Dolly

  • Tracking Lock System: The large 125mm (4.9") double-wheel casters feature a structural foot-switch. This toggle locks the caster path direction, letting you slide the camera package in perfectly straight linear tracking lines for flawless side-to-side or push-in dollying.

  • Detachable Cable Guards: Height-adjustable steel loop bars ride fractionally above the studio floor. They actively sweep thick broadcast, power, or fiber optic cables out of the way of the wheels, preventing unexpected bumps mid-shot.

  • Foldable Footprint: The DL-10RB is explicitly shaped to fold into a tight 49 cm (19.3") length, making it easy to roll through narrow studio doorways or pack away for storage.

Critical Studio Operating Safety Rule:

⚠️ The Pre-Mount Column Pressure Rule: Never pump high-pressure air into the P110 column while the 100mm bowl is empty, and always lock the upper column's mechanical safety brake before mounting or stripping components from your camera package. If you add heavy air pressure to an unladen pedestal, releasing the safety brake will cause the upper column to rocket upward instantly with severe kinetic force, creating a major risk of personal injury or equipment damage. Always match pressure only after the full camera and head load are clamped down.

Makes moving your umbrella around a breeze.
Size: 100LBS
This is best idea in umbrella stands. Decent price. I love that the water intake/release is on the side. Many are on top of the stand. Doesn't leak. Easy to move around and easy to put together with the included tools. I have 2. One for a very heavy 10 x 6' umbrella, and the other for a very light 1/2 round umbrella. Works equally well for both. One tricky part the instructions don't include is that is parts F and J are 'in place' in the base and you need to remove them to re attach them to the cylinder, or what they refer to as the "stand pole". So, if you are looking for parts (and I did this twice), just remember you will find them on the underside of large plastic umbrella base. Both are black, and so not immediately apparent. Love that there are two locking wheels and they include an extra screw. IKEA could learn a few things here.

Hold my umbrella & watch this!
Size: 100LBS, Size: 100LBS
This product does a fantastic job of keeping our umbrella perfectly vertical. We previously had an all metal one which cost over $100 and fell over all of the time. I love the fact that it can be filled with sand and water to ensure it does flip over! We opted to just use water and it is performing flawlessly! The wheels make it easy to move or they can be locked in place. The assembly was very straightforward and took about 20 minutes. I would buy another one if we need it for our second umbrella.

Great stand for portability, concerns about durability
Size: 155LBS
This is great and lightweight for easy maneuverability when not filled. It is extremely sturdy when filled and the locks on the wheels keep it in place. I use this with a Purple umbrella and it's great. My one complaint is that the umbrella has developed a bit of a lean after several months of use so I don't think this will hold up in the long run.
