The Ryan Dickson Line is the collaboration of two Australasian songwriters, musicians and musicmakers Liam Ryan & Andrew Dickson. Ryan & Dickson are long time friends and bandmates from multi award winning New Zealand based rock band The Narcs best known for their 1984 NZ chart topper (You Took Me) Heart & Soul which was written by Dickson & Ryan. The Ryan Dickson Line EP is the result of a side project and one of many for Liam & Andrew. Recorded, mixed and mastered over several months in Waihi New Zealand and Brisbane Australia during 2016 the 4 track debut EP came to fruition (with an unofficial release date) available online and in a limited run of beautifully packaged CD's in Dec 2016.The songs explore the idea of accumulated experience. Memory, rage, forgiveness, heartbreak and hearts repaired, a pill for everything, the longing for transcendence and environmental concern.
Two of the songs are brand new and two are a hybrid blend of new and old demo ideas melded together with a fresh look at arrangements, chords, lyrics, instrumentation and vocal production. We wanted to hear how these songs would develop in a different way. Utilising more acoustic instruments and blend that with a lounge-house vibe and with a rootsy and fat sounding approach to the production. Its kind of a shuffled playlist of styles within the blues, roots, reggae and country pop rock genres' ...perfect listening on a summers drive!

Marc Joseph's Shoe 👞: I ordered a size 8 for my husband. He wears socks with his shoes. It’s a little tight slipping on. Other than that, the shoe is very comfortable. My husband grabs them all the time because they are so comfortable.

Quality Shoe, but slight design issue

I like the way these fit and feel. I normally wear a size 10, and these are a 10. Very comfortable to walk in. I think they're stylish enough to wear with jeans or chinos. The leather is nice quality. However, the issue I am noticing, only a few days into wearing these (I've worn 3 times) is that the bottom material doesn't come forward far enough. The tip of the shoe juts out and as you walk the tip rolls forward on to the ground surface and is wearing away at the leather. I mean, I've only wore these 3 times and I am getting major concerns about their durability. I would choose another shoe if I could go back, as these are an indoor shoe only as they're currently designed.

Nice looking
Size: 11, Color: Cognac Grainy
I normally wear an 11.5 (including other Marc Jacob’s- including this make from 2024). The shoes are a pretty soft leather. I had to return for a size 11 which feels slightly tight but now, through experience, I know will stretch. I wear these shoes almost every day in black or brown They look great. Note, these shoes (because all leather) wear out relatively quickly, especially the front. I keep a fake leather Pair (almost identical looking) which are not nearly as comfortable (I don’t take walks in them) but look better for dinners etc.
