Arthania is a personal prayer to God, which can be heard and read by people, and animals, and plants, and stars. New song rhythm forms and meanings are proposed in this book; the truth of author Ihor Pavlyuk’s life (as a citizen of Ukraine, who lived and worked in many countries of the world) is consonant with all the people of the planet who can take the subtle energy they need from this book if they adequately catch the wave of his soul through an interpretation.

Within are themes of freedom, of the individual and society, the theme of love for nature, for the homeland, for one’s parents, other people, the theme of freedom, orphanhood (the author grew up an orphan), the struggle for independence—all expressed in this autobiographical book in a poetic style. His life credo is expressed in this book with these words: “I am ready to live for ages and I am ready to die at every moment.”

Reviews

"As I write, thirty-five babies of international parentage are being cared for by nannies in a hotel room in Kyiv. Swedish, Spanish, Chinese and British children born of surrogate Ukrainian mothers, they have been left in limbo by the pandemic, and must wait to be claimed by their biological parents until the country opens its borders again. The question of the parentage of poems is an open one – some poets feel they are simply channels for universal visions; some feel tenderly possessive toward their creative offspring; others acknowledge the reader’s place in co-creating the meaning of their work. However one looks at it, Ihor Pavlyuk’s poems are far more fortunate than these stranded babies and their parents; dancing freely across borders and oceans, each ‘a precise and windblown snowflake’, they offer the world subtle insights crystallised from a long, arduous and complex history. War-torn between East and West, Left and Right, modern Ukraine is also a country indebted to science, in love with its literature, and culturally steeped in diverse faiths, Christian, Islamic and pagan traditions. Ihor Pavlyuk, widely regarded as one of the leading Ukrainian poets of his generation, claims the right to tread all these boundaries as ‘a lone wolf’ slinking between ‘a manger of hay . . . [and] the tsar of flowers’ (‘The Right to Be a Lone Wolf’, Arthania). At this time of global isolation and uncertainty, his poetry reminds us that we all belong to the Earth - and to the cosmos." - Naomi Foyle, Author of Adamantine (Red Hen/Pighog Press) and The Gaia Chronicles (Jo Fletcher Books/Quercus USA)

"Ihor Pavlyuk has created a world that reawakens the dormant spirit of Ukraine’s past and is now expressed in these magnetic words. His voice is lyrical and epic: a meditative lyricism that moves peoples of different origins and identities to feel in harmony with land and trees, grass and water, epic in its profound vision of history and human beings. Translators and editors H. Kosiv, Yu. Lazirko and H. Sheers have reproduced the energy of Ukrainian rhyme and met the expectations of contemporary English-speaking readers who live under constant pressure but who want to enjoy peace and silence despite the aridity of our post-postmodern life. The voice of these poems has a quiet omnipotence and explains what it means to be human." - Dmytro Drozdovskyi, PhD, Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

seriously matte-ifying
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Don’t judge but back in the day I used to use Avon’s “face perfector” because it REALLY cut down on the shininess of face oil and it also had SPF. It made your face look matte without any other makeup. And I am pleased that this gel is similar. No face grease. It’s not even really a gel—if instantly feels powdery (somehow?) in your hand, thus it’s nongreasy. It leaves your face shine free and protected.

Perfect for a low-maintenance man
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have very fair skin and am a low maintenance kind of guy. My entire skin care routine is washing my face and trying my best to remember to put on sunscreen. This is the best face sunscreen I have ever used. It literally seems to disappear on my face immediately after applying it. I sometimes doubt I even got it spread evenly because of how quickly it disappears but it has worked just as well as thicker sunscreens I have used in the past. I would bet this would be great for women under their makeup because it wouldn't feel like another layer.

~ Oily Skin Review ~ (Updated)
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I haven’t seen any oily skin reviews of this product so I took a shot of buying it and trying for myself. Hopefully this review helps you. I have oily combo skin. It is also sensitive and prone to breaking out. When I shook the product, as instructed, it was not a gel I was expecting. It’s kind of matte gel (almost like a primer), which I don’t like using matte products since it makes me even more oily and the texture of the gel is like a primer. Kind of greasy but soft. However, when rubbed into the skin all the way it surprisingly left my face feeling soft and not really greasy, and even though it’s suppose to be a matte finish, I think because I used my cerave moisturizer first, it left more of a satin finish. After a couple hours I was happy to see that my face wasn’t ridiculously shining! It had a nice glow, and my face (mainly in the T-zone) felt a little bit slippery which I’ll call a win because like I said earlier the product had a bit of a greasy texture so I was expecting to feel REALLY greasy but I didn’t. And another huge bonus is it did not cause me to break out!! Usually my skin with purge on day one of using something new and my skin did not! If you have oily skin I would say try it IF you want to. The price is a bit too much in my opinion, I’d rather spend maybe $15 max on this product but honestly the results, for me, I think I would purchase it again. But oily skin responds differently for everyone so if you wanna try it, I’d say got for it. But if you don’t wanna risk it because of the price, honestly wouldn’t blame you for not trying it. Update: So I have used this for I don’t know how long now. Imma say this much. For colder seasons, my skin loves it. For warmed seasons my face starts to feel extra greasy. Bought the Daily Face liquid, my skin loves it! Have not broken out from it, no white cast. Would recommend not using the gel during warmer seasons.

Reliable
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I was kinda surprised by the texture, I'd call it a dupe for super goop! Its got that sort of light balmy ish, matte, velvety type of primer feel to it. It actually works well on top of makeup or under it.
