Limited double 150gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket including digital download. 2017 solo release from the British Rock icon best known as the main singer/songwriter in The Kinks. This is Ray Davies' first new album in 10 years. It follows his acclaimed 2013 memoir of the same name, and uses the book as both source material and jumping off point. Davies wrote and arranged all the music on Americana and co-produced the album with Guy Massey and John Jackson with the Jayhawks serving as Davies' backing band. Americana was recorded in London at Konk Studios, the legendary studio founded by The Kinks in 1973. The album is an autobiographical work, taking inspiration from the vital role America has played in Davies' life over five decades. It also features a number of short spoken-word passages from the memoir. In Davies' own words, "America is such a big story, a vast landscape, you can get lost in it. It's possible in America to go ahead and have a new start somewhere."

Really Happy With These Pillows!

I purchased these pillows and couldn’t be happier!
First – they’re cool on *both* sides—finally! I’m not sure why that’s so rare (probably to cut costs), but these actually have cooling material on both sides, and it works really well.
Second – the venting around the center helps keep them from getting hot at night. A nice touch that makes a difference for hot sleepers.
However, the third feature is the best: the filling. Like many adjustable pillows, you can add or remove the fill, and these come with a small extra bag. The base amount was just right for most people. I had to remove some for my wife but added a bit more to mine. The fill itself is excellent—soft but supportive. You sink into it, but don’t hit bottom.
These pillows also have a good weight to them, so they don’t feel cheap. They fluff up great and seem very well made. I followed the recommended dryer run when I first received them and had no odor issues at all.

Double Sided Cooling Pillow

I truly love these pillows. They are sent with extra filling so if their not firm enough you can add more and if their to firm you can remove some. You can make these pillows to your liking. They fluff right back up. Their comfortable and you really get your moneys worth. I love them.
