Today, Third Man Records announces the release of Death from Above 1979's epic live EP. For over 10 years, these international men of mystery, Jesse Keeler and Sebastien Grainger, have dipped their toes into whatever waters they pleased (MSTRKRFT, Deserts/Bad Tits, Femme Fatale, The Mountains, Black Cat No.13), and created songs that'll get you off your ass and make you feel things. A decade after a sudden break up, following the release of their rich and gritty first record You're A Woman, I'm a Machine, tours with Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone Age, and one foot in the door of the mainstream, Death from Above 1979 reunited and released their second LP The Physical World last fall. The duo picked right up where they left off and hit the road last summer. Amidst their resurgence, DFA 1979 decided to dip their toes in the water of Third Man Record's Blue Room. The room which is home to the 1953 Scully Lathe that previously cut James Brown singles at King Records, and where they decided to record the epic live performance to master and be reproduced for generations to enjoy. United Record Pressing has completed the pressing of these records and they are officially ready for release. The Live EP is set for release on April 22. 'We've always been wary of live recording experiences because they can end up so sterile and flat sounding and they hardly ever translate the feeling of the actual show. The feeling of the moment,' DFA 1979 said of the experience. 'When we were asked to record Live At Third Man Records we agreed without hesitation. If there is one person who knows about feeling the moment, it's Jack White. He's the patron saint of vibes. We cut two twenty minute long sets straight to acetate. No second chances. Terrifying but alive. Third Man were such phenomenal hosts and the audience went bananas with us. It was such an honour to be a part of. The whole thing was such a rush, it almost feels like a dream.' 'Oh yeah, Mick Jagger was there. Did we mention that we went out to dinner with Jack and Mick after and then went bowling until 3am? It's also worth noting that Jack got the highest score followed by Sebastien. Mick and Jesse tied.'

If your dog loves tennis balls, you NEED these
Raising any puppy is tough. Raising a German Shepherd puppy has often left me questioning my life choices. So I was ecstatic the day that my 60-lb puppy decided that he loves tennis balls and occupied himself for 2 hours without needing constant intervention. Naturally, my immediate response was to make sure we had a constant supply of large tennis balls for dogs available. Now my puppy loves mischief, but he’s not an aggressive chewer. And I was irritated to discover that every brand and size of tennis ball broke within an hour max of play. By simply playing fetch and batting the ball around with his paws, every single tennis ball split into 2 halves. We needed something better!
These squeaky balls are exactly that! They come in a 2-pack. I gave my pup the 1st one a week ago and it’s still going strong! We play fetch in the backyard, he brings it into the doggy pool with him, it rolls around in the dirt and can be rinsed off easily. It’s by far his favorite toy, and he takes it everywhere with him. Finally a squeaky ball that can keep up with my dog! These are the perfect size, texture, bounce, squeak, everything. These are the ONLY squeaky balls I will buy from now on. Five stars for sure!

Durable squeaky ball for chewers

These are great! My 54 lb GSP loves them and it’s the only thing she cannot destroy! She’s currently 1 year and we have had the balls for several months. We have this brand and similar ones too. They float, bounce, and squeak. The ridges are good for chewing.

Great squeaky balls

Awesome! My super chewers haven’t been able to destroy it. It’s been about 3 months now and it still squeaks and bounces like new! It’s a bit tougher than normal squeaky toys but so worth it for aggressive chewers.

Awesome for hyper dogs

AWESOME - I have a dog that just won't stop trying to get me to play with him ALL day! I turn this thing on and he goes nuts and tires himself out...without any help from me. The cover got torn off and torn up in minutes but he doesn't care. He just wants this ball. My other dogs, who are older, aren't really interested. But if you have a hyper dog this is the thing for you and them!

Great entertainment, charges quickly!

Super fun entertainment for dog! Toy ball charges quickly and the charge lasts for at least an hour of playtime for the dog. There are 2 modes. one mode Just lights up, which makes it easy for pet to chase it. The second mode not only lights up, but it also wiggles on the ground Randomly and speeds off in a direction on its own, which really makes it interesting for your dog or cat to follow! Once the ball is not touched for about thirty seconds, it goes dormant and it will stay like that As long as it's charged until somebody touches it, and then it starts up randomly lighting up and moving around the floor on its own And making a vibration noise. It's a lot of fun to watch the dog chase and play with, and it certainly keeps them entertained for a while! The laughs and fun entertainment are definitely worth it. The only downside is that my dog chewed off the soft fabric covering in about twenty minutes.And she's not a real big chewer. It looks better with the covering on it, but even without it, the ball works fine and she plays with it every day.So that is not a showstopper. But good to supervise your dog for safety.In case they are a chewer, and they decide to destroy the cover. But the ball works fine without the cover too!
