Over the centuries it has developed into what we hear today. Even in the modern performance of ragas, the music still retains it's profound, devotional character and humility. The ancient yogis, through deep spiritual practice, were able to see the effect of music on all of life and developed ragas according to their experience and inner knowledge. The word raga means "that which colors the mind." Each raga has a particular scale and set of notes that are brought to life when performed correctly.

They aren't super firm; they are more comfortable than rigid 😊

I bought these pillows, and honestly, I really liked them. They have a medium firmness that helps significantly with neck pain, yet they remain soft and fluffy without going flat during the night. They hold their shape well and have good loft, so you don't have to keep adjusting them constantly. They don't have any unpleasant odor right out of the package, nor do they slide around much inside the pillowcase something I really appreciate. Overall, they feel comfortable and are of good quality for sleeping in any position.
