Plastic model kit, assembly required. Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.

The Zero Fighter Model 52A was produced not only by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries but also by Nakajima Aircraft. The Type 99 20mm No. 2 gun Model 3, which was a drum magazine type like the Mitsubishi Model 52, was changed to a belt-fed Model 4 on the Model 52A, allowing it to carry 125 rounds of ammunition. At this time, the gun's mounting position was shifted slightly forward, causing the gun's mechanism to protrude from the leading edge of the wing, so a trapezoidal cover was added, and a teardrop-shaped bulge was provided under the wing because the drum magazine could not be contained within it, but the bulge was removed when the gun was changed to a belt-fed type. These are the external differences between the original Model 52 and the Model 52A. Another difference between the Mitsubishi and Nakajima models is the length of the heat-resistant plate attached near the exhaust port of the thrust-type single exhaust pipe, with the Nakajima model being longer than the Mitsubishi version. Furthermore, the Nakajima Model 52A is different from the Mitsubishi Model 52A in that it is equipped with a larger spinner due to a change in the propeller governor, and a drop tank with a different suspension method.

This model kit from Fine Molds carefully examines these small differences from numerous photographs and recreates them using newly molded parts. The markings reproduce the aircraft that appeared in the wartime film "Torpedo Squadron Dispatch," which belonged to the 653rd Air Group, which fought as a carrier aircraft on the aircraft carrier Zuikaku. Sturdy, easy, beautiful
Size: 16 Inch
Put these on a coffee table top and it was the perfect combination. It gives an industrial accent to a wood-centered room. Love them.

There is no side to side stability
Size: 28 Inch
This product was easy to assemble and install and came with all parts. The product itself is very sturdy, looks good with a nice industrial aesthetic BUT - there is ZERO stability side to side (lengthwise) as the plates which attach to the wood are too small. I have them set closer than the picture so it is not an issue of being too far apart. If anyone else had this problem AND FIGURED OUT A FIX FOR IT - please share!!

Fairly stable. Good value for the price
Size: 16 Inch, Size: 16 Inch
Great set of stands. You have to tighten them pretty snugly to minimize wobble. Given they are metal they’ll have a little bit more give than solid wood. Even so, a tall desk I built with them remains stable and level.
