I started piano lessons in fourth grade and continued through high school where I was also involved in marching band, concert band, pep band, and jazz band. In college, I have also been involved in all kinds of music ensembles. Recently in a class called Elementary General Music Methods, my instructor, Dr. Sarah Van Waardhuizen, had a wild idea for the class to write childrenÕs books. What started as an idea that none of us were sure of, turned into a massive collaboration that I have become extremely proud of.Ó
