Cycling through time, points of view, and rural and city life, the novel introduces us to Mei's community in fictional Dundurn and Herbertsville, loosely based on Southern Ontario places: Annette and Connie, other Asian trans women from the drop-ins; Sandy, Mei's older cousin and constant (if aggressive) support; Diane, an older lesbian with a pick-up and secret links to Mei's blood family; and Nelson, a presence lost before found, whose story is told in pictures sewn into a suitcase. Interspersed with one culminating night-time lake scene, the book carries us through these stories and towards their completion as the frustrating, necessary web that keeps Mei attached to the world.Binding Type: Paperback

Excellent Leather Quality - Beautiful Handbag
Beautiful handbag. I usually only buy designer handbags of good quality. I am fond of a particular Tory Burch handbag that is no longer made. When I saw this handbag, which is similar in looks to the bag I can no longer find by Tory Burch, I decided to take a chance because it was on sale at an amazingly reasonable price. I am so glad I did. The bag is gorgeous, stitching impeccable, and leather excellent quality. Love all the interior pockets. Lining in side is beautiful. Also, not heavy even with all my stuff in it--do not hesitate to buy this bag. It is a very good find on Amazon.

Mostly Open Tote, with Pockets

I love this bag. It's large enough for a short shopping trip, but not so big it drags when carried by hand (I'm short, so it's a factor). I like the pebbled surface but wish the bottom had little feet to protect the leather when set down. It has 1 zipped external pocket and 2 internal zipped pockets, although the second inside one could use a bit of structure; it flops, tending to cover items in the main compartment. It is high quality otherwise, fully lined, and a good value. I use it frequently, with enjoyment.

Nicest bag I’ve ever owned. Designer quality, obsessed.
It’s still hard to believe that how nice this bag is and that it’s mine and that I got it in Amazon. I’ve been searching for a high quality bag and was willing to pay 3x this price... I have many designer bags and somehow this is better than anything I’ve ever owned. I’m so happy I tried this out because I’ll never own another bag again. I literally get asked everywhere I go where I got my bag and everyone’s shocked to hear it was Amazon. I want it in every color... red is next for my bday! The leather is insanely high quality, straps are *LONG,* COMFY AND STURDY... Normally shoulder bag straps are either too short or so thin that they hurt/feel unreliable. So many inside pockets plus an outside pocket... It fits so much yet it’s not a big ugly tote.. it’s still a shoulder purse. I carry a giant wallet, small wallet, mints, chapstick, medication, a giant core water... and more and it all fits perfectly and straps are comfy. Literally obsessed... also I’ve never written a paid review before, this is not one, I just seriously love this bag so much.
