The NaceCare DP420 Duplex Hydrowasher is a versatile cleaning machine designed for professional use across a wide range of floor surfaces. This 14-inch counter-rotating brush (CRB) machine excels in low-moisture carpet extraction, encapsulation carpet cleaning, and effectively handles textured and hard surfaces. Its design allows for efficient cleaning of areas such as carpets, hardwood, grouted tile, rubberized floors, and safety flooring, even navigating into tight corners and along edges.

The DP420 operates with dual counter-rotating brushes that aggressively scrub the surface, lifting dirt and grime. Twin conveyors then transport the dirty solution to a central recovery tank. This low-moisture approach enables carpets to dry quickly, minimizing downtime in commercial environments.

  • Key Features:
    • Multi-Surface Cleaning: Capable of cleaning carpets, hardwood, profiled ceramics, grouted tile, rubberized floors, and more.
    • Low Moisture Encapsulation: Supports effective low-moisture encapsulation carpet cleaning, a green cleaning practice that promotes faster drying times.
    • Counter-Rotating Brushes: Features two counter-rotating brushes for aggressive scrubbing action, effective on uneven and textured surfaces.
    • Edge-to-Edge Cleaning: Offset brushes and drive unit allow for cleaning right up to walls and into difficult corners.
    • Efficient Dirt Recovery: Twin conveyors lift dirt-filled solution into a central recovery tank, or users can opt to double scrub and recover later.
    • Interchangeable Brush Options: A variety of brushes are available to suit different floor types and cleaning intensities, including grey (all-purpose), yellow (sensitive carpet), and black (regular or aggressive scrubbing) options.
    • Pile Lifting: The brushes agitate and lift carpet pile, making it effective for traffic lane cleaning and carpet restoration when used with hot water extraction.

Another fine Benchmark Atlas.
Format: Spiral-bound
We travel a lot and own 6 benchmark atlases now. They're the finest on the market and include camping and fishing information and show the forest service and other backroads. What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out. I hope they will all be spiral bound from now on.

Another good Benchmark Atlas
Format: Spiral-bound
We camp frequently and own all of the Benchmark Atlases. Although, this is different due to Canadian laws, we are excited to try it out! Very detailed with information, such as small campgrounds and identifying land ownership (Forest services or BLM)

Memories of the Camino
Format: Paperback
First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
