Unlike a standard circuit breaker, this "Surgebreaker" provides whole-home surge suppression, protecting major household appliances from voltage spikes caused by lightning, utility switching, and internal electrical disturbances.
It is a plug-on unit that installs directly into two adjacent pole spaces, connecting directly to the panel’s bus bar for the shortest possible lead length, which maximizes its suppression efficiency. It features an LED status indicator to provide a quick visual confirmation that the device is operational and providing protection.
