Convenient Design
For more intuitive handling of the Sony 100-400mm lens, it features customisable focus hold buttons that is conveniently located for use even continuous AF operation. Whilst they can also be customised from a camera menu to assign a variety of functions.
This lens features a zoom smoothness adjust that gives mechanical control of zoom ring torque.
The removable tripod mount allows for quick attachment and removal from a tripod so the user can switch between handheld and tripod shooting. When storing away/transporting, the tripod mount can be removed for convenient portability. The lock mechanism prevents accidental removal.
Superb Lens ConfigurationThe Sony 100-400mm lens is made up of 16 groups and 22 elements, including one Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element [1], and two ED glass elements [2] that have been strategically placed for optimum use of their technology. The advanced design supresses optical aberrations such as axial chromatic aberration, a common cause of resolution falloff in telephoto lenses, to produce clear, sharp images across the entire zoom range. |
