How is the Gen 2 Loam Dropper different from the Gen 1?
- New 175mm and 225mm travel sizes.
- The saddle clamp and midcap area have been slimmed down for a lower stack height, offering up to an inch of more room depending on post size.
- Comes equipped with a sealed air Dual-Chamber PNW Cartridge
- Updated tool-less travel adjust bushing and brass keys for greater durability.
- Updated from 3 anti rotating brass pins to 6 anti rotating pins. 4 are brass and 2 are teflon.
What is the Tool-Less Travel Adjust System?
The new system allows you to get the maximum drop for your post size. They accomplish this through a notched bushing under the midcap collar so you can dial in a more tailored fit.
How should I service the Gen 2 Loam Dropper Post?
There is no strict service interval as riding frequency and conditions vary. PNW recommends that you service the post if it starts to feel sticky/slows down. If the post sees a good amount of riding, it's safe to service the post at least annually for optimal performance. When it's time to service the post, it's a quick and easy at-home process.
