This cap clicks into place on the lav, replacing the original cap that came with the microphone and allowing you to apply all types of paint and makeup normally used in a theatre environment. Even with the Subminiature Paintable Cap attached, the 6060 Series subminiature mics remain IP58 certified—resisting dust and water submersion.
