The beige 4266 CORE+ Omnidirectional Flex Earset Microphone from DPA combines the sound of the 4066 omnidirectional capsule and CORE+ amplifier in a lightweight and flexible single-ear earset. It can be used when talent needs to be mic'd quickly and easily, and it's lightweight, comfortable design means the person wearing the microphone will barely notice its presence, making it well suited to conference, speech, broadcast, and live-performance applications.
The ergonomic 4266 easily adjusts to fit any ear size and head shape, while at the same time, it mounts securely and is hardly visible. By rotating the boom and the ear hook, the microphone can be used on either the left or the right ear. The modular design allows the connector cable to split from the microphone boom, making it easy to swap out broken cables and/or wireless connectors quickly and easily without having to replace the entire microphone. The 110mm boom arm is also interchangeable and two protective caps are included that allow you to alter the mic's high-frequency response to suit your application and preference.
- Shure: Works with Shure transmitters equipped with a TA4M connector, including the AD1, ADX1, AXT100TA4M, BLX1, GLXD1, MXW1, PGXD1, QLXD1, SLX1, SLXD1, ULX1, and ULXD1. Also supports Line 6 and TOA transmitters.
- The modular design allows you to adapt the 4266's MicroLock connector to a wide variety of transmitters simply by purchasing the compatible adapter—saving you the expense of buying another microphone.
- Built to withstand the rigors of long-term everyday use, DPA's MicroLock system features an easy-to-use, secure, and wear-resistant locking connector specially engineered to minimize accidental disconnection and ensure reliable performance. The compact design is well suited to situations where space is limited and a visually discreet solution is preferred.
- MicroLock is fully backwards compatible with the MicroDot connection; MicroLock parts can be assembled with MicroDot parts and function as if they were of the MicroDot type. Please note that the locking function is only available if both the male and female parts are MicroLock.
