artist biography
Visual artist, illustrator and print maker, born on June 12, 1922 in Malmö, Sweden.
Davidsson studied at Skåne Painting School from 1940 to 1941 and in Paris in 1947. He worked in different mediums including oil and watercolour.
He painted abstracts, figurative works and landscape views from Scandinavia, Holland, Lapland and France. Davidsson also produced a number of portraits as well as Ex-Libris bookplate artworks.
Participated in Graphica V 1963. Grafiktrienalen 1965 National Museum, Grafiktrienalen 1974 Liljewalchs, Vårsalongen 1976-1978. Liljevalchs.
Solo exhibitions: in Lund, Malmö and Bastad.
He passed away on on 11 December, 2003 at the age of 81 in Lund.
