This Is Television addresses the increasingly obsolete medium of television by way of the medium of the book—by extension commenting on media’s continuous changes of form and format. Through an interplay of theory and artistic research material, the book extends Judy Radul’s ongoing investigation of media with an idiosyncratic perspective on television—while still feeding off collective experience. The book thematizes television as a cultural container, both in its format as a “box” for content and as an ideologically saturated apparatus for reception. With sections titled Craig, Oral History, Moon, Display, Landing, End of Analog etc., the book charts our identification with specific media and a nostalgia connected with the obsolescence of technology. Springing from a desire to engage intermedia form by way of a book about television, and to commit to the ambiguity of its title’s announcement, This Is Television is organized around three central chapters: “This,” “Is,” and “Television” are individually interpreted in newly commissioned essays by Honor Gavin, Ana Teixeira Pinto, and Diedrich Diederichsen, with additional short texts by Judy Radul.Shipping Notes

Good quality but sizing is not accurate

The vest looks really nice and the fabric feels like good quality, so no complaints there.
However, the sizing was not accurate based on the measurements provided. I ordered according to the size chart, but it didn’t fit as expected, so I had to return it.
If you’re planning to buy it, I would recommend double checking or maybe sizing up to be safe.
Overall, the product itself seems well made, but the sizing issue was disappointing.

Suit jacket
This suite jacket was a perfect fit for my husband. It went well with the vest and tie we also ordered. The material is a good quality it held up all day and night. It's not to heavy to make it uncomfortable. It is perfect for our date nights and special occasions.

Great value/Runs small however!!
Coming from 30 years in the garment industry with a dozen in men's formal wear I can attest to this being a great value!
It is well put together/stitched but runs small so absolutely order a size up from what you would normally order.
I am not sure how they came to the inches measured but they are definitely off.
Will be donating the one I received to bless someone else and ordering the next size up!
