"The international grape variety Chardonnay has become an integral part of Terlano's vineyards and gives us fresh wines with a very interesting tropical fruit component every year, not only in our cuvée but also vinified by variety, which can be combined in an extremely diverse way."
Rudi Kofler

 Colour: bright, sparkling straw yellow
Smell: The scent of this Chardonnay releases exotic fruity olfactory sensations, with hints of banana, quince, passion fruit, mango and sugarmelon. But also a hint of lemon balm characterizes this white wine.
Taste: With a hint of pear, the Chardonnay is soft and harmonious on the palate paired with slightly sweet exotic fruit components. The slightly salty mineral note makes this wine very smooth and gives it an interesting volume.

The year 2022 began with a very dry and mild winter. A cool spring slightly delayed the budding of the vines. Due to a very sunny and warm May, the growth deficit could already be made up for by flowering. In the earliest locations, the first flowering was observed in mid-May. The beautiful weather then led to a rapid flowering process. In the higher vineyards, the vine flowering was already finished at the beginning of June. Due to the record-breaking hot and dry summer, there were few problems with fungal diseases overall, but the vines did reach their limits in some cases due to the lack of rainfall. Precipitation and heat thunderstorms at the end of July and beginning of August compensated for this water shortage, which avoided drought and associated quality damage. An early harvest could therefore be looked forward to quite relaxed. The harvest began in the earliest locations on 24 August. Fully ripe and extremely healthy grapes with slightly lower acidity values were the result.

South Tyrol is one of the smallest wine-growing regions in Italy. Thanks to its geographical location at the intersection of the Alpine north and the Mediterranean south, it is also one of the most multifaceted. Countless generations have shaped South Tyrol as a wine country, where winegrowers cultivate vines in different climate zones, with changing soil types and at altitudes of 200 to 1,000 metres. Authentic wines with an independent character are produced here, with the varietal focus on white wine: around 60 percent of the wine-growing area is planted with white grape varieties and only 40 percent with red grape varieties.

The towering peaks of the Alps protect South Tyrol in the north from rough Atlantic northerly currents, while from the south the country is characterized by Mediterranean influences. This results in large temperature differences between day and night, which ensure elegant ripeness.
Mountain groups such as the Adamello also fulfil a protective function to the south. As a result, the annual amount of precipitation is only about a third compared to the southern foothills of the Alps and the intensity of sunlight is higher. These climatic conditions are reminiscent of wine-growing regions such as the Swiss Valais.
When the sun appears behind the eastern mountains of Terlano on one of the 300 days of sunshine, it is already high in the sky. This is because the wine region is oriented south to southwest. Direct solar radiation is higher due to the lower density of the atmosphere, and diffuse radiation is lower at the same time. This increases the difference between sunny and shady slopes.

great start to a series
Format: Kindle
This was my first read from this author, and I am intrigued to continue the series! This is a college, why choose, between 4 football guys and the new girl in town. The FMC, Joey, is accused of seeing something she shouldn’t and is forced to move in with the guys in their isle until the end of football season. Joey is a girl who’s had a shit hand in life, but has continued to persevere. She deals with silent demons but doesn’t let them take control of her life. She has spunk and doesn’t cower. Kylian is the BEST. Hands down my favorite! He’s our blunt, neurodivergent cinnamon roll. Locke is a close second, he’s all about Joey from the moment they meet. Decker - now he’ll grow on you, I’m curious to see how he expands in book 2. Kendrick- not a fan lol. But there’s always a least favorite in these stories. This is a slow burn, but to be expected when there are multiple MMC to contend with. This story had good flow, and really grabbed my attention. I read in one sitting. I plan to continue the series!

Interesting Start
Format: Kindle
I have a harder time with why choose books that take place in contemporary versus fantasy books, because oftentimes the scenarios required to make it work just seem to out there for me. I felt like this book kind of strayed into that territory. The whole basis of the book is that Josephine accidentally sees something she honestly does not really even understand and the four guys solution is basically to kidnap her and make her live with them in their home. There was a bit of suspension of disbelief required for me in this book. That being said there were some things I did enjoy in this book. I felt like the men in this book were interesting and different from one another. They weren’t just cut out of hot football players that have the same personalities and ideals. Personally, for me, I really preferred Kylian because he was the nerdy guy, and that just works for me. He also has some sensory sensitivities and because of that and his coping mechanisms he has the ability to connect more with Jo than any of the other guys given her backstory. Josephine as a character is okay for me, I’m interested to see how she evolves. She has a complex/tragic backstory which I think will play into things a lot more in the next books to come. I do think she goes along with the scenario waaaayyyy to quickly and almost passively, which I have a hard time buying into. Overall, I want to see where the next book goes, given it does end with high stakes and a cliffhanger.

Gah! My heart! These boys! So much love!
Format: Kindle
I have so much love in my heart for this book. While that cliffhanger was absolutely atrocious and soul wrecking, I couldn't begin to explain the obsession that has begun in my bones. These characters are delicious, their interactions are so strong and real, and their pasts, their trauma, are so heartfelt and elicit all the feels. I love them, I love their stories, the details and relationships are so poignant that I craved every moment of this journey. I seriously devoured this book, I could not put it down, well into early dawn hours just to finish. It was like breathing, and I didn't want to stop. Abby has a serious new fan, and I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this book and author. Now, I absolutely have to get to the next one because I'm suffocating with the need for Kylian and the others, of course. Soo so worth it!
