Product Summary

1.5 x 2.5 0.4ml 3cm PUR orange double lumen octopus needlefree extension set with two Bionector S and 2 anti-reflux valves

Octopus are multi lumen extension tubes made of soft transparent polyurethane with a very low priming volume. They allow several lines to be independently connected to the I.V catheter.

Bionector S is a multi-purpose, closed, needle-free, I.V. connection device for blood sampling, intermittent injections or continuous infusions of fluids or drugs. Bionector S has a very easily disinfect able membrane (disinfection must be carried out before and after use) which closes automatically when the infusion line or the syringe is disconnected.
This simple to use device protects both health care workers (prevents needle-stick injury, no blood reflux) and patients (closed system: reduces risk of air embolism and blood loss).

The rubber balls are super stiff, which is good or bad depending on your dog. The squeaker is awful and terribly designed, however, It squeaks the first time you or your dog squeezes it, then it falls off inside and it becomes a rattler instead of squeaker.
