It started at a railroad town then later an oil town, eventually being abandoned in the 1960s - though there's still a few occupied homes in the area and the whole town is up for sale. For now, it sits stark in the harsh desert with beautiful old abandoned buildings and RVs, telling of a time much different from the current world.
