The smell is lightly tropical, which are my favorite smells! It does leave a faint white color on the skin when you put it on. It does it’s job really good stopping a sunburn!

After just a half hour in the Caribbean water, my skin was red. The product did not say "waterproof" so we decided to use it only when we were away from the beach. Unfortunately, even in the cold spring weather of our northern climate we still ended up with red skin. We had no choice but to throw away the rest of the bottle. Do not expect this lotion to protect you from the damaging rays of the sun.
