Dual Independent Voltage Regulators for Maximum Efficiency
The PM20S-2 features two independent step-down voltage regulators, each tailored to deliver exceptional performance:
- Regulator 1: Offers selectable output voltages of 5.3V, 6.1V, or 8.1V. It is designed to handle a continuous output current of up to 15A and can surge up to a peak of 22A.
- Regulator 2: Provides options for 5.3V, 8.1V, or 12.2V, with the same robust current capabilities as Regulator 1.
Both regulators boast impressive efficiency ratings between 90% to 96%, ensuring that energy is used judiciously, reducing waste and enhancing system stability.
Designed for Precision and Durability
Each regulator within the PM20S-2 maintains an output voltage tolerance of just 1.5%, which means your sensitive components receive exactly the power they need without the risk of damage. Furthermore, the module includes features like thermal shutdown at 150°C, short-circuit tolerance for up to 1 second, overcurrent protection with self-recovery, and minimal output ripple.
