'Поезія Ростислава Кузика – це проростання. На цьому можна було б і зупинитися, але ми мимоволі наводимо оптику, підсилюємо контраст, хочемо роздивитися, що ж там унизу. З чого вона проростає, з якого ґрунту? Але внизу – тінь, якісь сплутані кореневища, майже нічого не розібрати, таке все переплетене. Іноді щось бачимо чіткіше: виразні діалоги з Воробйовим, Тарнавським, Воячеком, Целаном (за назвою його збірки „Lichtzwang” – 'Світлотиск' – названа одна з частин цієї книги); часом дещо помічаємо мигцем або навіть намацуємо (сумніваючись): обережні алюзії до Гельдерліна, Чубая, Антонича, Герберта...

Це – поезія голосів, але – як у тому перформансі – відбитих, приглушених; ми чуємо гамір чужих рядків ніби крізь зачинені двері і тільки здогадуємося, хто там. Очікуємо, як у 'Книзі сміху і забуття' Кундери, якогось бучного поетичного бенкету, рвучко відчиняємо двері – і що ж ми там бачимо?'
