A pretty rare piece, this unit is loved by those that have taken the time to learn how to use all its features. The DSM-1 is a polyphonic synthesiser and sampler released by Korg in 1987. This 12-bit, 3U rack mount unit has 16 voices, 16 individual outputs, twin digital delays, oscillator sync, unison feature, multiple sample rate options, an analogue filter and more!
Condition:
- This unit has been used.
- This unit is in good condition. It shows general signs of wear like lots of small scratches and nicks. All text clear. No major damage or signs of drops or spills. Overall pretty good for a 37 year old rack! Please see photos.
- This unit has no rack ears.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested. It is all fully functional.
- This unit has had a brand new Gotek installed. A formatted 16GB USB stick is included to get you started. The USB is set up to save samples with "Work" calibrated disk images. There are 32 blank floppy images on the USB. There are an additional 11 disk images with some samples loaded.
- This unit has a green text on black screen. It is nice and clear. The contrast knob works so it can be adjusted to your preference.
- This unit has been converted to 240V using the internal factory multi-tap transformer. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand.
- If you purchase from overseas you may need a step-up transformer If you are unsure about this please let us know so we can help you source the correct product.
- This unit powers on with an IEC cable. This cable will only be included for AU and NZ buyers.
If you are in a remote area you may incur extra fees.
