THE STORY BEHIND SILVERSTONE

Built on the site of a World War II airfield, Silverstone first hosted the British Grand Prix in 1948. This race attracted a reported 100,000 spectators. Two years later in 1950, Silverstone was chosen as the venue for the first race on the inaugural Formula 1 World Championship. The track is one of only four Grands Prix from the first year of the World Championship to remain a part of today’s F1 calendar (the others being Monaco, Spa, and Monza). The layout of Silverstone has undergone significant changes over the years, mostly in a bid to reduce speed and increase safety.

the problem with these "cooling" pillows is any cooling effect is almost completely negated by a pillow case. this particular pillow is cool to the touch, but completely useless as it flattens out completely, way too soft I think for anyone. I would not recommend this "NASA" pillow for anyone for anything. Maybe for 10 bucks, but certainly not what they ask for this. I did keep it though. It is "cool" but only for a moment and your flipping it around like any other pillow. also way too soft. BUt, it has been cool enough to get me back to sleep.

It has a zippered cover on it you can remove & wash. This one seems to have a thin, protective permanent cover thing on it. I assume so you potentially can wash the pillow. May attempt that in a few months.
