Turbo Options - The standard turbo kit will utilize a 1.10 A/R exhaust housing which is great for maximum boost levels and low drive pressure. However, if you're running minimal injector size (around 100), oversized tires, 3.42 or 3.73 gears, etc., you would be better suited to run a smaller A/R ratio, such as a 0.90, to actually increase drive pressure to assist in turbo spool. But if you're somewhere in the middle, say running 150 horsepower injectors, 35" tires, 3.73 gears, and daily drive the truck, you may be best suited for the 1.00 A/R housing. Further, for those that want the ultimate in spool, Industrial has a modified compressor cover, they have termed their "Quick Spool" compressor cover that utilizes the same FMW Compressor Wheel as the standard cover, but is designed to be super responsive for great daily driving manners.
