In bocca è elegante e lievemente tannico, e il medio corpo poggia su un’acidità fruttata.Il Primitivo Puglia IGP “12 e Mezzo Bio” 2020 di Varvaglione 1921 è prodotto con i grappoli della varietà simbolo della regione, allevati in biologico. La fermentazione è svolta in acciaio a temperatura controllata ed è seguita da un breve affinamento in legno prima dell’imbottigliamento. Un rosso elegante e succoso, adatto al consumo quotidiano.
