Victron Lynx Power In M10: High-Capacity 1000A Modular DC Busbar

When designing robust off-grid, marine, or RV power systems, cable management and safe power distribution are critical. The Victron Energy Lynx Power In M10 provides an elegant, high-capacity solution for connecting and consolidating multiple battery banks. By replacing messy ring terminal stacks with a neat, enclosed modular DC busbar, this unit minimises electrical resistance, mitigates the risk of short circuits, and ensures a professional finish.

Designed for versatility, it seamlessly supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems with an operating voltage range of 9 to 60Vdc.

Engineered for High-Current Applications

At the core of the module are heavy-duty, 8 x 30mm tinned copper busbars capable of handling up to 1000A of continuous direct current. This exceptional current rating makes the module perfectly suited for demanding environments, such as large lithium battery banks, industrial power setups, and high-draw inverter arrays. The tinned copper construction provides superior conductivity while actively resisting corrosion, which is especially important in marine and coastal installations.

M10 Interconnects for Future-Proof Expansion

A frequent question during system design is the difference between the M8 and M10 variants. The designation specifically refers to the external connection hardware used to link multiple Lynx modules together. The M10 version features larger left-hand interface holes and robust M10 right-hand bolts, allowing secure, high-torque connections to adjacent components like the Lynx Distributor, Lynx Shunt VE.Can, or Lynx Smart BMS. As Victron transitions away from M8 interconnects, selecting the M10 model ensures your power distribution network is fully future-proofed for expansion. Note that internal connections for your battery cables remain standard M8 studs.

Victron Lynx Power In vs Lynx Distributor

Understanding the distinction between the Lynx Power In and the Lynx Distributor is vital for correct system architecture. The Power In is fundamentally designed as a converging point for parallel battery connections before the power routes through a shunt. Unlike the Distributor, it does not feature integrated blown-fuse LED indicators.

However, the enclosure physically accommodates MEGA fuses. For users requiring integrated fusing at the battery connection point, the optional Lynx Power In Bolt Kit allows you to mount up to four MEGA fuses internally, bridging the gap between a standard busbar and a fused distribution block.

Compact Profile and Simple Installation

Housed in a durable ABS enclosure with an IP22 protection rating, the unit guards against accidental contact with live terminals. The transparent front cover provides immediate visual inspection of internal connections without exposing the operator to live circuits.

Great value and easy to install!
Color: Black, Color: Black
I only needed 3 of the 4 shelves so I have one as a backup! Very easy to install as well. The shelves feel sturdy and I’ve never had any issues!

quality matches cost + instructions unnecessarily tedious
Color: Brown, Color: Brown
The material is real wood but don't assume that means quality - it's still very cheap feeling, and very lightweight. But once installed they are quite stable, and they look great from afar. I got a darker colored one and the stain does come off very easily. One of the shelves had a huge manufacturer sticker on it and it took off the stain when I removed it, and a bit of the stain also came off when I wiped the shelves down with a wet cloth. It'll be dry dusting from now on, I suppose. Also, they did not fit snugly into the corner - when one side is pushed flush to the wall, it forces the other side to pull away from the wall a little bit. It wasn't a drastic space, maybe like 1/8th of an inch, but it is still something to note. I am fine with the cheap quality as they are, after all, pretty cheap, so I'd say they are worth exactly as much as they cost. Personally I am happy with the purchase - just thought I'd warn. Secondly - if you want to follow the instructions exactly, you will need two people unless you have inhuman agility. But I also think the instructions were a bit asinine and tedious. They want you to line up the LOOSE shelf and brackets with a leveler to mark where the brackets go on the wall, then put in the wall screws, hang the brackets on them, balance the shelf on the brackets to mark on the SHELF where the brackets will be attached, take the brackets off the wall to screw them into the shelf, then put the combined shelf-bracket unit once again on the wall screws and finally screw those in tight. In hindsight, you can just mark where the brackets should go on the SHELF (not wall), screw the brackets into the shelves, THEN level the shelf on the wall and screw the whole unit into the wall together. We were really baffled why the instructions didn't have us do that instead of spending extra time (and frustration) trying to juggle all the loose pieces and tools. But I'm not engineer-minded, nor have I ever installed corner shelves before, so maybe there would be some kind of issue with doing it that way that I can't predict.

Good shelving decor
Color: Black
Easy to install and perfect for a corner display of Disney decor. They are lightweight, so we didn't put anything heavy on them, but the brackets seem sturdy enough that we could probably put something moderately weighty on them.

GREAT BUY
Color: Natural Wood
LOVE these shelves! Got them for each side of the bed to put books. Really elevates the room, and is cuter than just a simple straight book shelf.
