WWII German Army Model 1935 Combat HelmetWWII German Army Model 1935 Combat Helmet This was formerly a double decal parade helmet. You can clearly see where the decals once resided. The green finish is worn with some discoloration. There is a band around the circumference, assumably for camouflaging reasons. The dark brown leather liner has some discoloration and wear but is not damaged. There is a replacement drawstring to go along with a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked,

There is a band around the circumference, assumably for camouflaging reasons. The dark brown leather liner has some discoloration and wear but is not damaged. There is a replacement drawstring to go along with a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 64/56. The side of the interior is stamped NS 64 indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 4404 plus the initials H.M. There is a dark brown leather chinstrap as well. A solid, salty example!
