Engineered for flawless finishes, this bit utilizes Freud’s patented Quadra-Cut™ design. Unlike standard two-cutter bits, this system employs four cutters: two large cutters shear upward to remove the bulk of the material, while two smaller cutters shear downward to trim the edge. This opposing shear action eliminates fuzz and tear-out, producing a glass-smooth finish on hardwoods, softwoods, and composites that requires no sanding. Additionally, the set includes shims to adjust the tongue thickness from 7/32" to 1/4", ensuring maximum compatibility with various stile and rail sets.
