Overview
A safe and compact digital multiposition magnetic stirrer with heating available in 6 and 15 positions. The MULTI-HS presents exclusive features such as timer, safety lock, brushless motor guarantee maximum performance and safety.
The MULTI-HS Hot Plate Stirrers have a unique system of warnings: when the plate temperature reaches 50°C the display will show a residual hot plate message preventing potential burning.
The Safety Lock feature avoids possible alteration of the working conditions or unintentional modification of the settings in order to meet all the Labs safety standards.
The VELP CerAlTop™top plate is made of aluminum alloy that guarantees temperature homogeneity with optimum heat distribution and a high specific power thanks to the circular configuration. A thin layer of ceramic protecting the plate from scratches and chemicals and ensure high resistance to thermal stress and thermal shocks.
Smart User Interface for an easy use
The LED display is easy to read and thanks to the intuitive icons the operator has always the clear readout of the working conditions:

Power and Accuracy
The extremely powerful Brushless motors are able to stir from 100 up to 1000 rpm offering a virtually unlimited duration. Size and shape of the magnetic stir bar determines the stirring efficiency at any given speed and it is always constant as viscosity changes with the torque compensation SpeedServo™.

I will say that the wall anchors included are not the best quality and I used a third party set.

Good Product

Well designed and sturdy. Though not real wood I think they will last. It took me an hour to install the first shelf. That was all on me. I was slow measuring and placing the shelf bracket. I kept dropping the level and doing other crazy things. But the second and third shelves were easy after I learned what I was doing. Even though the screws, etc were provided I used Easy Anchor drywall anchors rated at 50 pounds. Just drill it in the sheet rock then screw the screw through the hole in the bracket until it clicks, (you have to listen). That means the ends of the plastic anchor flips out like a toggle bolt. Continue tightening the screw and that is it. Think I read somewhere that the board wobbles. These were tight as could be and no wobble.
I did learn to only "tighten" just one end of the bracket sort of snug and let it hang. Then raise it to level and mark the other holes with a pencil. Don't put the other screws in until you are sure you can see the plastic anchors' holes though the bracket. Then place and tighten all the screws. The only negative I saw was that they could have sent the same or similar anchors that I have. But they didn't call me. Guess they didn't have my number.

Quality Assurance Lacking

The first set I ordered was great; super easy to install, no issues. The second set I ordered the holes on the bottom of the shelves did not match up with the holes on the bar that secures the shelves to the wall so it was impossible to attach the shelves correctly. I'm still trying to figure out a solution.
