M6xTT | Turntable

The M6xTT is a high-end turntable with the same design principles as the M8xTT at a more affordable price point.

The M6xTT establishes the design philosophies of the legendary M1 turntable in our M6 line. The M1 design was created by Musical Fidelity founder Antony Michaelson and Heinz Lichtenegger - back then Musical Fidelity distributor and now brand owner. The design was very important and should match the mechanically stunning amplifiers. The base idea was to combine the inert mass of metal alloys with zero resonating acrylic. The motor was effectively decoupled from the tonearm and platter with the dual chassis construction.

It was a great success and after the M8xTT, now the M6xTT is second in line to bring a more affordable version of this design philosophy to the market.

The Tonearm

The 9-inch tonearm is the same design as in the M8xTT, but with a shorter tonearm tube, a streamlined headshell design and a direct 5P DIN output. It incorportes our ultra low resonance design with transparent acrylic bearing ring and conical aluminium tonearm tube. The tonearm is fully VTA and azimuth adjustable and comes with two counterweights, which are TPE damped to prevent resonances.

The Motor & Platter

The motor is sitting in on a special foam in the lower level acrylic plinth to decouple it from the platter and the tonearm. The electronic speed control allows you to switch between 33 & 45 RPM.

Like the M8xTT, the M6xTT is equipped with the same sophisticated speed control technology. The motor is powered by a precision DC-driven AC generator for the utmost in precision of speed and stability. This means the frequency and voltage for the motor are completely generated from scratch by our control electronics and you are not handicapped by the quality of your mains power when it comes to achieving perfect playback speeds.

A one-piece belt manufactured without any gluing con connects the motor and the TPE damped platter, which is made of aluminium and weighs a hefty 6.6kg.

The Feet

Four heavyweight TPE damped aluminium feet with magnetic support connect the two acrylic plinths with teflon spacers in between. You can adjust them in height by turning the riffled middle part of the feet to level the turntable.

In The Box

You will find a heavyweight full aluminium puck in the box to stabilize your records while playing to achieve the best possible tracking.

A leather turntable mat is also included, which is a superior base for your vinyl records. You will benefit from less noise and a special sound characteristic.

To connect your M6xTT to your preamplifier, a semi-balanced phono interconnect cable with gold-plated connectors is included as well.

A clear acrylic dustcover is available separately.

Reviews

A turntable that sounds every bit as classy as it looks with a fullness, sense of image solidity and deep, sumptuous bass.

David Vivian - HiFi Choice 02/2025

"The M6xTT made the music flow without drawing attention to itself… and allowed the listener to be captivated by the music. Provides great timing and stability. Soundstage is wide and tall with good depth. Wonderful detail is on offer, both macro and micro."

Mark Busby - Soundstage! Australia 08/25

i should have waited for there to be reviews posted
Format: Kindle
I'm being more generous than I should because this is a debut novel i downloaded this book because i like why choose and band romances i figured that it wouldn't take too long to get back to where the prologue was because the prologue seemed to be less than a day before they met the FMC and the MMCs don't meet til 60 % of the way in which for a Romance novel kinda hard for the relationship to develop or for there to be plot beyond them just meeting in a way where the FMC really lacks agency a lot of early plot and character things are forgotten about after they met it's almost as if the last third of the book was written first and then they went back to write backstory separately but forgot there needs to be a plot i get wanting to have background on the characters, but there has to be a way to do it without constant time jumps and no plot progression. Tessa's story jumps around a week lead up so much also the band aspect is very much an afterthought in the novel Spoilers-- one of the MMCs is openly pan and one of them has been dealing with a bi awakening but being somewhat defensive about it and once Tessa arrives that gets forgotten about til the epilogue and even then doesn't actually confront his sexuality the wrap up of the church hiding her name is tied up with a quick sentence, but no real consequences for anyone i honestly thought she forgot about family pack IRS deal until the final chapter and that gets resolved in an unsatisfying way the pack is upset that Tessa gets viewed as an object and tricked into the contract but has no interest in making the company's wrongdoings public or trying to prevent this from happening to other omegas tessa goes over a lot of struggles of homelessness but she only thinks about food waste once after joining the pack -- you'd think she'd use her newfound wealth and power to help other homeless individuals, especially youths and omegas. even a little side note to say that a portion of tour proceeds or her family fortune would go towards public food pantries and shelters would've done something to connect her beginning character to the end character

BORING and too long
Format: Kindle
I could not believe how wordy and boring this book was. No spice at all. Slow burn is really a NO burn. Almost DNF and now I’m sorry I stuck with it. 500 pages could ave been 150 and it would have been more than enough. I highly doubt not recommend this work of yuck.

Still 4 stars
Format: Kindle
A little to much before and to much dive into the days, months before, but I still kept reading. Maybe because of that you could read about them all. I just couldn't put this book in my to read another day list. I just wanted to know what happens to them.

Promising but not without issues
Format: Kindle
First off, the FMC and the pack don't meet until about 60% of the way through. That's just way too late honestly. I can appreciate the backstory of the band and the FMC, but I skimmed at times wondering when they'd meet. I did like the writing and premise but I thought the execution needed a lot of work. The characters were pretty well developed, but they didn't spend that much time on the page together, so I thought that led to the story suffering. I will give her another shot, as I think the writing has promise... It just didn't come all together in a way that I could wholeheartedly recommend.
