ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

As ambitious as it is devastating, Vengeance combines the best of fiction with social critique.

An addictive and necessary thriller.

NOBODY KILLS LIKE CARME CHAPARRO. The long-awaited conclusion to the DELITO trilogy.

When Carlos Manso, a media tycoon and symbol of Spain's communication power, dies under scandalous circumstances, a storm breaks out that implicates journalists, judges, forensic experts, his heirs, and key figures of power in Spain. What begins as a tragic, sensational death soon reveals a complex web of secrets, blackmail, abuse, and cover-ups. In the midst of this turmoil, the charismatic yet antisocial forensic doctor Santi Munárriz faces one of the most difficult moments of his career... and his life.

The novel follows a choral structure that allows the reader to delve into every corner of the system: from newsrooms and forensic dissection tables to the offices of power.

With sharp prose, relentless narrative rhythm, and uncompromising lucidity, Carme Chaparro builds an addictive and necessary story. Vengeance is a thriller, but also a denunciation. An emotional chronicle and an X-ray of today's Spanish media landscape.

Drama Free For Sure!
Format: Kindle
Nedra Glover Tawwab is a New York Times bestselling author, a licensed therapist, and a sought-after relationship expert. This book is a therapeutic and educational tool that addresses how to consciously change behaviors you’d rather not have in relationships, specifically, around your family. For those of us who have delved into the self-help book world, this is an in-depth, thorough refresher, focusing on family dynamics. Nedra’s core belief is that relationships contribute to mental health. They can cause you pain or they heal you. She focuses on taking your relationships seriously and teaches the art of having tough but intentional conversations to create positive change. OR you’ll learn how to sever ties when the relationship is unmanageable. None is more influential than the formative years we’ve had with our family of origin. A lot of people lament that not everything is about the family, but yup, so often it’s true. In childhood, most likely we weren’t allowed to be ourselves, so our true selves started to develop when becoming an adult. Like a butterfly using its colossal strength to break out of its chrysalis, we too must use our emotional colossal strength to break out of our childhood mold in order to fly. We are able to have relationships with family on our terms.

Insightful and Compassionate.
Format: Hardcover
I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship. I felt seen and heard that though my familial relationships are unique there are commonalities and in turn ways to approach healing, reconciliation (with oneself and with family), understanding and compassion, to a achieve drama free relationships. As humans we are bread for connection and I appreciate Nedra Glover Tawwab's help in navigating them.
