Threads

We offer many types of thread choices to accommodate our customers throughout the USA. We maintain a card file in our office with thread types used by various cities throughout the USA.

Our standard threads are NST (NH). They will typically drop ship quicker from Kochek’s inventory. NSPH can also be supplied for no additional charge. FDNY (New York City FD) and NYCORP (New York Corporation) is available for an additional fee. If your thread type is not shown below, please give us a call to discuss your requirements.

  • National Standard Thread (NST), also known as National Hose thread (NH). It is the most common type of fire hose coupling used in the United States.
  • National Pipe Straight Hose (NPSH), also known as Iron Pipe Thread (IPT). It has the same TPI as NPT, but the thread does not taper. NPSH is a straight thread and seals by a gasket in the female coupling which allows for a swivel, just like NH/NST, which makes both ideal for hose couplings.

Foggy foggy to crystal clear in less than an hour!!! True story!
Pleasantly surprised at a)how easy this kit was to use, b) the results of the kit and I highly recommend this kit. Took my headlights from completely foggy to crystal clear as if they were brand new. Only took about 30 minutes with a little elbow grease. Great product at a great price!

If you buy it, buy 6 or 7,8 boxes
This is a great product! If you buy 6 to 7 kits! Making it very expensive!!! Once you get started, you can’t stop without buying more kits. It gets worse and worse using any other product. It last a good 8 to 12 month, if you use 7, 8, or 9 kits. It will work the crap out of you, wiping and wiping, scrubbing! Don’t even get started with it, they give you enough of the good stuff to work on a 2 year old car, showing zero signs of oxidation. I’m an Armor All fan! Armor All has the best interior cleaner, a good protectant, & many other good products.. but this product has cost me money and a lot of time. Not happy Armor All.

wow, ahead of the rest, easy to use
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
wow, i have used a lot of products for my cloudy headlight lens. this was the easiest and the best so far. on a dry clean headlight, open the foil envelope and get the wipe out, wipe the cloudy headlight and it really gets the job done, a yellow stain builds up on the wipe. one wipe for each headlight. wipe dry with microfiber, then spray the sealant and let it sit, just wipe any excess run off on the car body. poof, done! looks good. says it can last up to 18 months. not sure about that, but i will take what i have now. go nu finish, another solid product.

Sprayer broke
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
Spray bottle broke half way through the 2nd light. Made do with dumping the liquid on a paper towel and wiping it on, but can already see spots on it

The stuff works.
Style: Headlight Restore & Repel Kit
This stuff works great, very easy to use and reasonably priced. It took headlights from that yellow haze where you can’t see the bulb inside you know what I mean to looking like a new light I couldn’t believe it worked that well with no sanding at all. just use the wipe to wipe the lens for a minute or two and it’ll clean all the oxidation off. Let it dry for a few minutes and then spray the ceramic coating on it and you’re done make sure and let the coating dry for a few hours before you touch it.
