A substantial 10.2 cm Staunton chess set with hand-carved boxwood pieces, a 48 cm mahogany and maple board, and a carry bag - detailed, elegant, and great value.

This substantial chess set features beautifully crafted Staunton-style wooden chess pieces with a clean and elegant maple and mahogany chessboard. The chess pieces are heavily weighted and are tournament height at 10.2 cm. Each piece is hand-turned, and each knight is hand-carved from graded boxwood. They are a wonderful value and very detailed for their price.

The European inlaid chessboard is around 48 cm in width and is made from real wooden veneers of red mahogany and light maple. The wood used for the board is sourced from sustainable woods in Europe. Included is a fabric carry bag for the chessmen.

Hey I’m in nursing school and I bought this… it’s not the pocket size, it’s actually a full size book. It brought tears to my eyes many times. I have no idea what a 3rd degree block is. My teacher thinks some of the ekgs are wrong

Can anyone put me in contact with the author of this book? My ekg/cardiology teacher is slandering her name and saying some of the rhythms she has in this book are wrong. Really upsets me because he is only a nurse and teaching a pre paramedic course. Doctors and cardiologist were the ones who cited this book. The rhythms are correct, my teacher just wants to think he is smarter than everyone else when it comes to cardiology. Otherwise I love this book and very helpful.
