Helen Shrimpton is one of our favourite crochet designers and she receives lots of requests for colour suggestions on her Facebook group, . So Helen and a team of trusty helpers decided to offer to match peoples favourite photographs to a selection of yarns from Stylecrafts Special DK range.
The result was hundreds of entries and there is now a huge library of colour boards on the Facebook page which are sure to provide lots of colour inspiration! Here at Deramores we loved this idea and the collections of shades which were being created so we decided to turn it into a competition! Helen asked everyone to vote for their favourites and we have put together yarn packs for the top three boards so that you can easily purchase these collections and create something beautiful with them yourself.
This pack was inspired by Lisa Klein's photo which she called Fire in the Stone. Helen has matched this photo to shades of yellow, pink and purple to create a rich, warm colour pack. The pack contains 18 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK in the following shades.
