The AWLS is the new standard in modern lights. The AWLS was designed from the ground up to be a simple, reliable, modular, ambidextrous solution that adapts to any situation.
The PSF-Mk3 LED head has a max output of 58,000 candela and 1,600 lumens (raw). A uniform spill for close-range navigations will still allow for close encounters with a 5500k daylight-balanced color temperature for true-to-life color rendition. For best performance we recommend using our 18650 batteries but will also work on (2) CR123A batteries at a reduced output.
The AWLS Handheld Duty light features our notched tail cap design and in conjunction with the Thyrm SwitchBack 2.0 allows users to limit the activation button exposure. This allows the user to reliably deploy and index a flashlight from pockets or pouches, using the retention ring. It also allows the users to shoot using a natural two-handed grip (the SwitchBack Technique). You can also positively retain the light when drawing a firearm, reloading, and addressing a malfunction.
The AWLS Duty light provides fast deployment and enhanced retention during many activities such as climbing, backpacking, car and home maintenance, and self-defense.
