Magnificent Austro-Hungarian earrings from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in sterling silver, these beautiful and unique earrings display a flower-like shape and an incredibly ornate design. Hanging from a simple silver wire, each piece features nine round Persian turquoise cabochon stones, one at the center and two slightly smaller ones nestled together at the four ends of the cross-shaped center. The stones are bezel-set and display incredible sky blue color, making them pop against the silver setting. The center design is crafted in gorgeous white enameled covered rays painted with flecs of rich reds, vibrants greens, and deep blue colors that lead into the center turquoise stone. Four wirework covered domes, each topped with a beautifully faceted bezel-set garnet stone are found in between the enameled rays and a gorgeous silver wirework border flows around each earring. The attention to detail is superb, including a wonderfully polished filigree design on the back of the silver setting. These beautifully elaborate and unusual earrings are a great example of traditional Austro-Hungarian jewelry and would make a special statement!

Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 3/8" long (including the wire), measures  a little more than 1" at its widest point, and has a depth of approximately 3/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings are great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting, silver wire, enameling, or turquoise or garnet stones all of which are secure and intact.
