Skunk2 Spring Base Kit For Honda K-Series K20/K24 And F20C/F22C Engines

The Skunk2 Spring Base Kit is designed for Honda K-Series, F20C and F22C engines where upgraded dual valve springs are required. This kit allows compatible Honda K20, K24, F20C and F22C cylinder heads to accept Skunk2 high-performance K-Series style dual valve springs.

Skunk2 Steel Spring Bases are especially important when upgrading K-Series cylinder heads that were originally equipped with single valve springs. They provide the correct base support needed to install dual valve spring setups safely and correctly.

This kit is also used when installing K-Series valve springs into Honda F20C and F22C engines, making it an essential supporting component for serious Honda valvetrain upgrades, high-RPM engine builds and performance camshaft setups.

Key Benefits

  • Designed for Honda K20, K24, F20C and F22C engines
  • Allows single spring K-Series cylinder heads to accept dual valve springs
  • Required for installing compatible K-Series valve springs in F20C/F22C engines
  • Steel construction for strength and durability
  • Essential supporting component for Skunk2 dual valve spring upgrades
  • Suitable for high-RPM street, track and race engine builds
  • Developed for reliable valvetrain performance and correct spring installation

Important Fitment Notes

This kit is required when installing Skunk2 dual valve springs into K-Series cylinder heads originally equipped with single valve springs.

It is also required when using compatible K-Series valve springs in Honda F20C and F22C engines.

Always confirm compatibility with your exact cylinder head, valve spring kit and engine setup before installation. Incorrect valvetrain component selection or installation may result in poor spring seating, incorrect installed height or serious engine damage.

Why Choose Skunk2 Spring Bases?

Skunk2 designs, develops and tests its valvetrain components in-house to ensure reliable performance, correct fitment and durability under demanding conditions. These spring bases are manufactured to support proper installation of Skunk2 high-performance valve spring upgrades in compatible Honda engines.

For Honda K-Series, F20C and F22C builds using upgraded camshafts, increased RPM limits or dual valve spring conversions, the correct spring base setup is a critical part of building a stable and reliable valvetrain.

Effective temporary fix
Style: 18oz, Style: 18oz
The slim brand has always been an genuine effective fix. I have been using slime since I used to ride on bicycles. Well it is not a permanent fix for if you have a hole in your inner tube it is a great fix to hold you over until you are able to get to either the mechanic or to your local store to get a replacement inner tube. Overall, it's worth every penny and you get plenty in the canister that it comes in depending on which slime you are getting whether that's the plastic bottle for your inner tubes for a bicycle or the metal canister as I've shown in my picture for your SUVs trucks or vans. However I don't give this an entire five stars but more of four stars not because of their product but because resorting to using slime rather than fixing the problem is more of my own problem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍👍

Don't buy doesn't work
Style: 18oz, Style: 18oz
Terrible did nothing. Even tried to let wheel turn 360 degrees yet the solution get in the tire leak proper. Directions on can differ from instructions on here/Amazon. I followed directions on can EXACTLY and still didnt even hold one PSI of air. I'd be better off burning the $10 for warmth rather then waste it this way

Amazing stuff
Style: 14oz
I’ve been using this stuff for a number of years for a number of vehicles now and it works every time. It’s especially great with those small annoying leaks where you just lose a couple pounds every few days so you have to keep adding air like once a week. It totally seals it. The bottle says to only rely on it for 300 to 500 miles and then get a proper fix. However, I have not found this to be the case. The seal holds for the rest of the life of my tire every time I’ve used it. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little cheaper, but you can seal up 2 tires (use only half the can per tire - you can probably even get away with using less). There is a garage not far from me that fixes leaking tires for $10, which is the same price as this product so not really saving any money by using it. It’s more just a matter of convenience. Just make sure you get this “thru-core” one. They have other ones as well so it can get confusing, but the one you’d want for situations like I’ve described above (small to medium leak in a typical passenger vehicle) is this “thru-core” one.
