Since Pokpong has long ago stopped doing his street scenes, and his very popular portraits, and recently evolved his portraits into a muddier, more diffused and conceptual style, that is not as popular with the collectors of this gallery, we have gone in search of other artists, emulating this style.

 

Jo Chanchai is the most talented of the group, that we have been able to find. His attention to detail, and the amount of time he spends on each painting, we re not qualities Pokpong put into his work. 


This painting measures 140cm. x 140cm. (55"x 55"). It is oil on canvas. The image barely does justice to the work. Done in 2015.

 

These paintings are far more beautiful in person, than they are in the images. The photos barely capture the subtle beauty of the work, and the mastery of the technique. We offer a money back guarantee on these lovely paintings, however to date, not a single one has been returned.


Chanchai is not an art star, like Pokpong, but he is very well regarded for his technical mastery. These paintings are priced at a third the price of a comparable work by Pokpong. I'M AMENDING THIS REVIEW AND ADJUSTING THE RATING UPWARD! Though it took my dog a little while to adjust to how differently this ball behaves, HE LOVES IT NOW. I wish I could give you a sense of how enjoyable and comically entertaining it is to play with him using it. ORIG. REVIEW: Bought this for a little 8 lb. aggressive chewer who loves to play fetch. I initially bought the 2" Chuckit! Ultra ball previously. It is the most amazingly durable product I've found for this pup. Very firm, but not hard on his teeth. He's very quick and agile, so I thought he would like the eye-mouth coordination challenge of a ball that changes direction suddenly. I guess my only disappointment with the product is that the ball is hollow instead of having a solid core like the Ultra ball, so he doesn't enjoy chomping down on it the same way. The erratic bounce feature is entertaining, but the pup is a little skittish, so he was intimidated at first. He's warmed up to it, but not with the same enthusiasm as the Ultra ball. Having said all this, I don't fault the product for the rating I gave it. It is a quality-made product that performs as advertised. I just didn't anticipate that my dog would be less enthusiastic than I thought.
