Straight away, the nose is all about savoury vibes—think forest floor, spice, and dried herbs—balanced by bright red fruit like pomegranate and cherry. The 20% whole bunch adds a gentle lift and some nice structure too.
As a young wine, it’s crisp and a bit restrained at first, but give it some air and it really starts to open up. You'll find richer notes of chocolate and a savoury, earthy finish that lingers. Fermented in stainless steel egg and bottled in December, it’s clean, fresh, and all about texture and energy.
Definitely a wine that speaks of place and season—pure, vibrant, and very Yarra Valley.
