This ring assembly includes only the grille portion of the guard and requires the appropriate upright package and brackets for proper installation (sold separately). This ring assembly is designed to fit certain years of the Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment).

It keeps the cheeks and gums hydrated but not the tongue. I still woke up and had to have water because my tongue was dried out.
