The Panobridge™ FX1 is an advanced, ultra-lightweight, all-metal night vision bridge mount designed for use with two milspec AN/PVS-14 monoculars or similarly shaped devices using the industry-standard 1/4-20 mounting interface. With a class-leading total weight of just 1.7 oz (only 0.2 oz more with included thumbscrews installed), it is 16% lighter than a single milspec J-Arm, while being constructed entirely from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for true duty-grade durability.

Designed for users who prefer a traditional, fixed field of view, the FX1 builds on Noisefighters’ experience developing the original adjustable Panobridge M1, delivering a lightweight, rigid, and elegantly simple mounting solution. It is the lightest all-metal bridge mount available for professional use, offering significant weight savings compared to competing bridge systems and even polymer J-arms. Depending on configuration, it enables extremely lightweight dual-tube night vision setups that can rival or undercut the weight of standard non-removable pod systems.

Despite its minimal weight, durability remains a top priority. The FX1’s all-metal 7075-T6 construction has passed 2-meter drop testing on concrete with heavier-than-standard AN/PVS-14s, and thousands of Noisefighters metal bridges are currently in use with zero reported part failures, including adoption by multiple U.S. law enforcement agencies and FBI tactical teams.

Each monocular can be independently articulated upward, allowing one device to be stowed without disturbing the other—an essential feature when transitioning between night vision, thermal systems, or unaided vision. This articulation also allows the system to sit closer to the helmet when stowed, improving balance and reducing snag risk.

The Panobridge FX1 includes a no-questions-asked, transferable lifetime warranty and is made and assembled in the U.S.A., designed by a Marine Corps combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.

CONSIDERATIONS:

  • There is a technical consideration called collimation that may need to be accounted for when using two monoculars. In the simplest terms, images from two bridged monoculars may not be perfectly in tune. For many users, this is not an issue that can be easily perceived, as the brain can usually overcome this misalignment. At worst, the user will experience eye strain after long periods of time using their night vision goggle. If necessary, hire a technician to collimate your paired monoculars, or read online about how to perform a DIY collimation. Done correctly, there is no need to re-purge the monocular.
  • No auto-shutoff system is integrated. Users must manually turn off the monocular when flipping up and stowing equipment on the top of the helmet.
  • This bridge is NOT COMPATIBLE with bayonet-style night vision helmet mounts. You MUST HAVE a dovetail-type night vision helmet mountThe cheapest yet adequate option for a sturdy dovetail-compatible helmet mount is to purchase a military surplus Norotos® RHNO-II (bayonet) mount and modify it to accept the Norotos PVS-15/18 dovetail adapter. Instructions can be found on YouTube here. Our recommendation for a pre-assembled helmet mount with dovetail adapter is the Nocturn Industries ALPHA mount.

    Best Sublimation Paper
    Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
