eBook Description

This book is written as a practical guide to those interested in the pursuit of energy resilience at a local scale. Energy resilience is defined as the relative ability of an institution to carry out its mission during a shock to the energy system and approach the concept on the level of a single site occupied by a single community or institution. Examples are drawn from four key community types: military bases, healthcare campuses, educational campuses, and municipal governments. The book then describes a framework for developing an energy resilience plan that applies to each. While the focus is clearly on the United States, understanding the energy resilience threat and conducting long-range energy resilience planning will benefit communities all over the globe.

Divided into three main parts, Part One describes the specific energy security threats that are facing local institutions and communities and how an energy shock can affect the mission at each of the four community types and the advantages that each will enjoy in their pursuit of energy resilience. Part Two provides concrete guidance for pursuing energy resilience at a particular institution and allows managers to assess where their institution lies on the energy resilience spectrum and plot a course toward where they would like to be. Part Three describes the three main areas of energy resilience performance: energy efficiency, on-site generation, and emergency planning. Case studies are also provided.

Heavy-Duty, Reliable, and Perfect for Outdoor Use
Size: 50 FT, Style: 16/3 Extension Cord, Color: Black, Size: 50 FT, Style: 16/3 Extension Cord, Color: Black
I’m really impressed with this HUANCHAIN 50ft extension cord! The quality is excellent — it’s thick, durable, and clearly built to handle both indoor and outdoor use. The waterproof design is a huge plus, especially for powering outdoor lights, tools, or holiday decorations. It’s handled rain and damp conditions without any problems. The 16/3 gauge wire provides a strong, steady connection, and the cord stays flexible even in cold weather — no stiff or tangled mess like cheaper cords. The 50-foot length gives me plenty of reach for yard projects, and the black color blends in nicely. Overall, this is a well-made, dependable extension cord that feels like it’ll last for years. Great value for the price — I’d definitely buy HUANCHAIN again!

NICE CORD - GOOD PURCHASE
Size: 50 FT, Style: 16/3 Extension Cord, Color: Black
Purchased to use with an electric outdoor dusk to dawn light that needs to be plugged in but I needed an extension cord to reach the outlet. This worked perfectly. I also liked that the cord is very pliable. It would be easy to roll up if you just need an extension cord occasionally.

Extension cord
Size: 50 FT, Style: 16/3 Extension Cord, Color: Black
Cheaply made but has strong plugends. I wish the insulation was like more like the heavy duty outside extension. Cords. This cord is still good especially for the price. The male and female ends are high grade plugs it looks like. Just wish they woulda placed a thicker outer insulation over the extension cord but it’s water proof and can be used outside it’s worth buy for long cord for the price

Good Product
Size: 50 FT, Style: 16/3 Extension Cord, Color: Black
I bought this for some Christmas decorations and it worked out well. I probably could have found a cheaper one in a store but it was convenient to buy it online and it arrived quickly. Great for outdoor use and I'm sure it will last a long time.
