Selected parts and materials used in this sculpture are from modern Grand Prix cars as listed below.
Sculpture limited to twenty five pieces with 2 artist proofs.
Body: Carbon fibre 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm, 2.4 mm thick. Coated with UV resistant clear coating and painted detail.
Dorsal and underside fins: Rothmans blue coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel with pinstripe.
Tail and Pectoral fins: Rothmans blue coated 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel with pinstripe.
Exhausts: Water system PRV 75° fitting adapted to suit, vapourmat blasted and coated silver.
Marking detail: Black water transfer
Teeth: Printed chrome on black Decal.
Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a distressed aluminium plate to replicate undercar skid plate and a gear from a modern Formula One GP car.*
Mounting methods: Desk mounted.
Dimensions: L 600 mm W 200 mm H 375 mm on base.
