Light: Oxalis ‘Sunset Velvet’ thrives in bright, indirect light. Too little light will cause it to become leggy and dull, while harsh direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves. A spot near an east- or north-facing window is ideal.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Oxalis prefers lightly moist soil but dislikes being soggy. Reduce watering in winter or during its natural dormancy period, when growth slows and the plant may temporarily die back—this is normal, and it will regrow when conditions improve.
