Gazania Logro Striped Mix seeds do not require any special treatment prior sowing, and they need light to germinate, so the surface sowing is recommended. Also known as Treasure Flower, Gazania Rigens Logro is a very compact variety that grows only 5 inches tall forming mat-like clumps of dark-green foliage with attractive narrow leaves and blooming with the extra large, multicolored, daisy-like flowers on a top of short 5-7 inch flowers stems. Gazania Logro blooms non-stop all season long attracting bees and butterflies.
Gazania Logro Striped Mix is one of the most showiest flowering ground covers to grow in sunny, hot locations, and as all Gazanias, Logro Treasure Flower makes an excellent flower to grow in borders, rock gardens, containers, pots, hanging baskets, window baskets, and just everywhere else where the continues, colorful display of multicolored flowers is desirable. Treasure Flower can be grown as a tender perennial in warmer climates, or as an annual in other climate zones, and if the plant is planed to grow as the annual flower, Gazania Rigens seeds are recommended to be started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplanted outdoors when danger of frost is passed. The best environment for growing Logro Striped Mix Gazania is full sun and well-drained, light, sandy soil, but Treasure Flower adapts to poor soil tolerating drought and heat.
