Six generations of iterative innovation, distilled into one remarkable machine.

The HKM-F7S Pro represents the culmination of relentless refinement across six product generations. Every component has been scrutinized, optimized, and validated to deliver an uncompromising urban mobility experience.

At the heart of the F7S Pro lies a philosophy of balanced engineering: power without excess weight, range without bulk, and comfort without complexity. The rear-wheel-drive architecture channels 600 watts of nominal power through a precision-tuned drivetrain, while the patented hydraulic suspension system absorbs road imperfections with a composure that traditional spring-based designs simply cannot match. This is not merely an electric scooter—it is a statement of intent for the future of personal transportation.

Designed for the discerning urban rider who refuses to compromise, the F7S Pro excels across diverse riding scenarios. From the daily commute through congested city streets to spirited weekend explorations along winding park paths, its adaptive character shines through. The meticulously engineered 48V architecture and 1,248 watt-hour energy reservoir ensure that range anxiety becomes a distant memory, while the maintenance-free solid tire system keeps you rolling regardless of road conditions.

600W rear-wheel-drive motor: responsive, refined, and relentlessly efficient.

Dynamic acceleration meets seamless control, optimized for the unpredictable rhythms of urban terrain.

The F7S Pro employs a high-efficiency 600-watt brushless DC hub motor mounted at the rear wheel—a deliberate engineering choice that pays dividends in traction, handling, and overall ride quality. Rear-wheel drive provides superior weight transfer during acceleration, ensuring that power is translated into forward motion with minimal slippage. This configuration also contributes to more predictable cornering behavior and enhanced stability during braking events.

Peak power output comfortably exceeds the nominal rating, providing ample headroom for brisk launches from standstill and confident overtaking maneuvers. The motor controller has been programmed with a refined throttle map that prioritizes smooth, progressive power delivery over abrupt surges, making the F7S Pro equally at home in stop-and-go traffic as it is on open stretches of road. Thermal management is handled passively through an oversized aluminum housing, ensuring consistent performance even during extended high-load operation.

The drivetrain's efficiency is further enhanced by low-resistance bearings and precision-machined gear interfaces, minimizing parasitic losses and maximizing the percentage of battery energy that reaches the pavement. The result is a propulsion system that feels both effortless and engaging—powerful enough to inspire confidence, yet refined enough to never feel intimidating.

48V / 26Ah lithium-ion architecture: 1,248 watt-hours of enduring freedom.

Engineered for endurance, the advanced battery system provides an industry-leading range of 52.9–59.8 miles (85.1–96.2 km) per charge.

The battery pack represents one of the most significant engineering investments in the F7S Pro platform. Utilizing high-energy-density 21700 lithium-ion cells arranged in a 13S configuration, the 48-volt, 26-amp-hour system stores a formidable 1,248 watt-hours of usable energy. This capacity places the F7S Pro firmly in the upper echelon of electric scooters, rivaling machines that weigh considerably more and cost significantly more.

Real-world range testing, conducted under standardized conditions with a 165-lb (75-kg) rider on mixed terrain, consistently yields between 52.9 and 59.8 miles (85.1–96.2 km) per full charge. Eco-conscious riders who employ conservative throttle management and leverage regenerative braking can expect to approach the upper bound of this range. Even under more demanding conditions—aggressive acceleration, frequent hill climbs, and maximum speed cruising—the F7S Pro delivers range figures that comfortably exceed the daily requirements of the vast majority of urban commuters.

The integrated battery management system (BMS) continuously monitors individual cell voltages, temperatures, and charge/discharge currents, providing comprehensive protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit, and thermal runaway scenarios. Fast-charging capability is supported through the included 2.5-amp smart charger, which replenishes a fully depleted pack in approximately 9 to 10 hours. An optional 5-amp rapid charger reduces this duration to under 5 hours for riders who require quicker turnaround times.

Patented Hydraulic Suspension System

The F7S Pro features a proprietary, patent-protected hydraulic suspension system that fundamentally outperforms conventional spring-based designs. Where traditional coil springs exhibit linear compression characteristics—often resulting in a harsh, jarring ride over sharp impacts—the hydraulic system provides progressive, velocity-sensitive damping that adapts in real time to road conditions.

This adaptive shock absorption capability means that small, high-frequency vibrations from textured pavement are effectively filtered out before they reach the rider, while larger impacts from potholes or curb transitions are absorbed with controlled, composed compression. The system's sealed hydraulic cartridge design also ensures consistent performance across a wide temperature range and eliminates the sag and fatigue that plague spring-based alternatives over extended use.

Precise handling is preserved through carefully calibrated rebound damping, which prevents the unsettling oscillation that can occur with less sophisticated suspension designs. The result is a ride quality that belies the scooter's compact form factor—smooth, controlled, and confidence-inspiring across the full spectrum of urban surfaces.

8-inch solid tires: maintenance-free resilience meets all-weather traction.

The F7S Pro is equipped with 8-inch (20.3 cm) solid tires engineered from a proprietary high-rebound elastomer compound. Unlike pneumatic tires that are vulnerable to punctures, pinch flats, and pressure loss, these solid tires deliver consistent performance without any maintenance burden. The tread pattern has been computationally optimized to channel water away from the contact patch in wet conditions, while the compound's high coefficient of friction ensures reliable grip across asphalt, concrete, and even lightly textured surfaces.

The 8-inch diameter strikes an optimal balance between ride comfort, rolling efficiency, and overall scooter compactness. Larger than the 6-inch and 6.5-inch tires found on many competitors, they roll over obstacles with greater ease while maintaining a lower rotational inertia than bulkier 10-inch alternatives, contributing to the scooter's responsive handling character.

Sleek, ergonomic, and unmistakably modern.

The F7S Pro's design language prioritizes visual restraint and functional purity. Its streamlined silhouette is free of superfluous ornamentation, allowing the engineering beneath the surface to define the aesthetic. The deck profile has been sculpted to provide generous foot space while maintaining a ground clearance that handles speed bumps and curb transitions without scraping. Integrated cable routing keeps the cockpit clean and uncluttered, while the matte-finished surfaces resist fingerprints and maintain their appearance through daily use.

Ergonomics have been carefully considered throughout the rider interface. The handlebar height accommodates a wide range of rider statures, the throttle paddle is positioned for intuitive thumb operation without strain, and the brake lever provides progressive modulation with minimal effort. The folding mechanism—a critical touchpoint for any portable scooter—features a reinforced locking collar that engages with an audible, tactile click, eliminating any ambiguity about whether the stem is securely locked in either the riding or folded position.

At just 46.3 lbs (21.0 kg), the F7S Pro is remarkably portable for a scooter with its power and range capabilities. The folding dimensions allow it to fit comfortably in a car trunk, beneath a desk, or alongside other belongings on public transit. This combination of robust construction and everyday portability is a direct result of the six-generation iterative design process, where every gram was justified and every structural element was optimized through finite element analysis.

Engineering advantages that translate directly to a superior ride.

The F7S Pro addresses critical pain points that riders have long accepted as inevitable compromises in the electric scooter category.

Hydraulic vs. Spring Suspension

Conventional spring suspension offers linear, undamped response. The F7S Pro's patented hydraulic system provides progressive, velocity-sensitive damping that adapts to impacts in real time—eliminating the harshness and oscillation inherent in spring-only designs.

Solid Tires vs. Pneumatic

Pneumatic tires demand constant pressure monitoring and remain susceptible to punctures. The F7S Pro's high-rebound solid elastomer tires deliver zero-maintenance reliability with traction characteristics that rival air-filled alternatives, without the vulnerability.

Rear-Wheel Drive Precision

Front-wheel-drive scooters suffer from traction deficits during acceleration, particularly on inclines. Rear-wheel drive channels power through the wheel with the greatest weight transfer under load, maximizing grip and delivering cleaner, more predictable handling.

1,248 Wh Energy Density

Many competitors in this weight class offer 700–900 Wh battery systems. The F7S Pro's 1,248 Wh pack provides 40–75% more energy capacity without a proportional weight penalty, extending real-world range significantly beyond the segment average.

46.3-lb Portability Class

Scooters with comparable range and power typically weigh 55–70 lbs. The F7S Pro achieves its performance targets at just 46.3 lbs (21.0 kg)—a difference that becomes profoundly meaningful when carrying the scooter up stairs or loading it into a vehicle.

Coast-to-Coast Service Network

With over 3,000 authorized service partners across 600+ U.S. cities, the F7S Pro is backed by the most extensive localized support infrastructure in the electric scooter industry—ensuring expert maintenance is never far from home.

Answers to common inquiries about the F7S Pro.

What real-world range can I expect from the F7S Pro?

Under standardized testing conditions with a 165-lb (75-kg) rider on mixed urban terrain, the F7S Pro consistently achieves between 52.9 and 59.8 miles (85.1–96.2 km) per full charge. Actual range varies based on rider weight, ambient temperature, terrain gradient, riding mode selected, and throttle usage patterns. Riders who employ Eco mode and conservative acceleration can expect to approach the upper bound of this range. In more demanding scenarios—such as sustained maximum-speed cruising or frequent steep hill climbs—range will trend toward the lower end of the stated spectrum.

How does the hydraulic suspension differ from traditional spring suspension?

Traditional spring suspension operates on a linear compression principle: the force required to compress the spring increases proportionally with displacement. This provides a basic level of impact absorption but offers no inherent damping, leading to oscillatory rebound that can feel unsettled. The F7S Pro's patented hydraulic suspension introduces velocity-sensitive damping through controlled fluid displacement. When the suspension compresses, hydraulic fluid is forced through precisely calibrated orifices, creating resistance that scales with impact velocity. This means sharp, high-speed impacts are met with firm, controlled absorption, while slow undulations receive a more compliant response. The result is a ride that feels simultaneously more planted and more comfortable across the full spectrum of road surfaces.

Are solid tires less comfortable than pneumatic tires?

Historically, solid tires earned a reputation for transmitting more road vibration than their pneumatic counterparts. However, the F7S Pro addresses this through two key innovations. First, the solid tires themselves are manufactured from a proprietary high-rebound elastomer compound that exhibits significantly greater compliance than earlier-generation solid tire materials. Second, and more importantly, the patented hydraulic suspension system provides a level of vibration isolation that far exceeds what either tire type alone can offer. The suspension absorbs the high-frequency vibrations that would otherwise reach the rider, effectively decoupling tire characteristics from perceived ride comfort. The net result is that the F7S Pro delivers ride quality comparable to—and in many scenarios superior to—pneumatic-tire scooters, while completely eliminating the risk of punctures and the burden of pressure maintenance.

What is the advantage of rear-wheel drive on an electric scooter?

Rear-wheel drive offers several distinct advantages for electric scooters. During acceleration, weight naturally transfers toward the rear wheel, increasing the normal force on the driven tire and thereby maximizing available traction. This is particularly beneficial when accelerating from a standstill on inclines, where a front-wheel-drive scooter may experience wheel spin as weight shifts away from the driven axle. Additionally, separating the steering function (front wheel) from the drive function (rear wheel) results in cleaner, more predictable handling dynamics. The front wheel is free to focus entirely on directional control without the confounding influence of drive torque, while the rear wheel delivers propulsion without introducing steering feedback. This separation of responsibilities contributes to the F7S Pro's composed, confidence-inspiring character across diverse riding conditions.

How portable is the F7S Pro for daily commuting?

At 46.3 lbs (21.0 kg), the F7S Pro occupies a compelling position in the portability-to-performance spectrum. It is notably lighter than many scooters offering comparable range and power—which frequently exceed 55 lbs (25 kg)—while delivering specifications that rival or surpass those heavier alternatives. The folding mechanism is engineered for quick, secure operation: a single reinforced locking collar engages with an audible click in both the riding and folded positions. When folded, the scooter's compact footprint (approximately 43.3 × 17.7 × 18.9 inches / 110 × 45 × 48 cm) allows it to be stowed in a car trunk, beneath a standard office desk, or alongside seating on most public transit systems. For multi-modal commuters who combine scooter travel with bus, train, or car segments, this portability is a decisive practical advantage.

What does the 3,000+ service partner network cover?

The authorized service network encompasses over 3,000 independently operated but HKM-certified service locations distributed across more than 600 cities throughout the United States. Each partner location has been vetted for technical competency, maintains access to genuine HKM replacement parts and diagnostic tools, and participates in ongoing training programs specific to the F7S Pro platform. Services available through the network include routine maintenance inspections, firmware updates, component replacements, brake adjustments, and comprehensive diagnostic assessments. This extensive infrastructure ensures that expert support is available within a reasonable distance for the overwhelming majority of F7S Pro owners, regardless of their location within the continental United States.

JUNK, Cheaply built, Feed Scanner fails and falls apart in less than 5 months and only 4 uses.
Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan, Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan
Absolute piece of Junk! Built cheaply. Feed Scanner has never worked properly from my first scan (only did 4) and now falls apart completely, in the roller section. It falls out after it jammed for the 7th time today, this time with a SINGLE piece of paper. If you have a piece of paper that has a fold in it, forget about it. That will never feed through. I had 6 sheets I had to get out today, I had to do manually via the flat bed, both sides. It took 23 minutes to get done. Should not have taken 2. The last time I used it same issues but less sheets. The paper is SO TIGHT in the feed section it is hitting BOTH walls. You could not slip a piece of paper in there if you wanted too, most likely one of the reasons it does not feed correctly. While on the phone with support (I am right now, 4th call today and 3 emails of pictures they wanted later, the hoops they put you through is ridiculous!) Of course overseas support and has little to no knowledge of being Tech support, I asked for supervisors only to have my first call disconnect at 1 hour and 20 seconds. Then the next call was 24 minutes, then another 32 minutes and now this one still ongoing (56 minutes and still going). Now after 3 hours and 5 minutes, they are "holding" my credit card for 179.99 + tax to get a REFURB unit! So much for a 5 year Warranty. Oh they acted like it was out of date on Warranty, it has NOT been in EXISTENCE for 5 years , it came out in 2022. Did I fail to mention you WILL be dealing with Overseas people who have you repeat the same thing over and over and over and over again. They wonder why I was getting upset...hmmmm . As they pass you along the ranks you have to repeat EVERYTHING all over again. As I was on the phone and they were asking me to open WRONG doors to find the serial #, I lifted once again the Jam area and guess what, the parts fell out. Just PLOP! Other issues while I am at it, the Picture quality is "OK" nothing special. I bought it to save ink as HP gouges you to death and destroys your print head if you use a knockoff. The Ink has been "OK", but I haven't really had it long enough to tell as most everything has been Black and White, so all are still full except the Black (3.4's). Its a rear feed, I miss the HP draw on that, the print speed again is not fast, just OK. Though never really in a rush with it. I cant say it enough, this is cheaply built, and my experience with Tech Support was a HORRIFIC. I never like dealing with Over seas support as it is, but what they wanted pictures of as proof was mind blowing (pictures of the tubes that go to the ink wells? What does that have to do with the issue at hand.) The panel function is anything but user friendly. Firmware Updates, if not done, will prevent usage until done. You have to download and install ALMOST 30 different files, from drivers to firmware updates the list is endless. Never have I had to do that many of ALL printers I have had combined. Simple ZIP file and let it run on an executable file (EXE)like everyone else. That will take you over 2 hours to get all loaded. The ink wasn't bad seeing it needs to be primed first to work, I am not sure what will happen when the REFURB comes, will I get ink or just have to re-prime from the cartridges. The software for scanning is easy to use, though unnecessary, should just scan and auto save, or am I just spoiled by HP? But to send me a "REFURB" as a replacement on a 5 month old unit with a 5 year warranty is really being low. They did EVERYTHING they could to get me to NOT follow through in this return, you have ONLY 30 days on Amazon. You have been warned, I would look elsewhere, the tank issue is a great Idea, but if it doesn't work, what good does it do.

First Impressions - Complete Review
Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan, Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan
Printer Review from an Artist. Printer cost with a 3-year extended warranty - $199.00. Came with four full bottles of Ink. Each bottle was huge, and enough to completely fill up the tanks. In my old Epson printer that used Epson 127 Ink Cartridges a cartridge held 8ml of ink. The cost per cartridge for the XL Black was $31.00 on Amazon. In comparison, a bottle of ink for the tank printer costs $15.00 and holds 65ml. The Epson 127 Ink Cartridge is rated at 175 pages for the XL cartridge and the Tank Printer is rated at 4500 pages per bottle of ink. So, the difference in cost is striking. Unboxing the printer was simple enough. The printer weighs about half the weight of my old Epson printer. The new printer does not have printer drawers but, back feed only. This actually worked out well for me since I was constantly taking the paper in out and out of the drawers when changing paper size. Also, with this direct paper feed, I figure it will handle my heavier weight card stock paper that I use for my art and greeting cards. To my great surprise, the printer offers two-sided printing. This is really handy when printing my Zines. The printer setup was extremely easy as they recommend a phone app, that walks you through each step with pictures. And it communicated perfectly with the phone for the setup. It takes about 15 minutes to completely set up the printer. I have learned to not rush setup. Take your time, and follow the instructions step by step, Which include filling the tanks. Features, * The printer dues Dual-Sided Print - Great for zines. * It has fax capability, but we do not have a landline, so that will not be used. * It does copying, with a document feeder or you can lift the feeder and place the document on the glass. * I mostly use my Epson Precision San copier but it is nice if you wish to make a quick copy of a document. * Some reviews complained about the very small LED display but I find that by using the app or computer I can control all that I need to do. Print Alignment. I did this test but the printer heads did not require any alignment. During the setup process, the program installs the printer driver on my computer. However I found it to be the very basic driver, and I went to the Epson Website and downloaded and installed the latest driver which is very robust and has all the settings that I needed. The printer's footprint is smaller than my old printer. And my old printer had two paper drawers, though I never used the second drawer. Negatives. The output tray is flimsy and seems like it would easily break if bumped when I walked past the printer, so I have to be careful about this. So far I do not see a way of checking the ink levels from the computer. And they said in the instructions to be sure to check your ink levels. You can see on the front of the printer, where you can see the ink levels. When you purchase more ink, you can attach the bottle and it will not overfill the tanks, and you can then use more ink from the bottle later. So I will purchase a complete set of ink and keep it and as it runs low with about 1/4 left in the tank, I will just fill it up. So far I am very happy with the investment and now printing and ink cost is not a major factor. And I figure I will do a lot of printing with this printer when the holiday season rolls around for my greeting cards. As for print quality, I will need to report on this later, though there were no negative reviews of print quality. A test print on regular paper and the colors seemed to be spot on. One note, I still will continue to use my Canon Pro-300 Wide Printer for my Fine Art Prints, but the new Tank Printer will be my studio workhorse.

Frustrating to set up and unreliable
Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan
I bought the Epson EcoTank ET-4800 hoping for an easy, low-cost printing solution, but it has been nothing but trouble. The wireless setup is overly complicated, and the printer often loses connection to the network, forcing me to restart it or reinstall the software. Printing is slow, even for simple documents, and the paper feeder sometimes pulls multiple sheets at once. While the EcoTank system is supposed to save money on ink, the print quality is inconsistent — colors can be dull, and black text occasionally appears streaky. Scanning and copying are also sluggish. For the price, I expected something much more reliable.

ET-4800 EZ PZ set up and start up. Prints and scans just fine
Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan, Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan
An excellent home printer. And why did I purchase such? I had an Epson WF-520 for nearly ten years. But neglect and lack of use caused the printer head to get gunked up. I cleaned the print heads using a solution of 95% Etoh and glass cleaner (about fifty/fifty), a syringe with a plastic tube attached and LOTS of paper towel strips. It was moderately successful but I was never able to get it back to like new printing. I looked over several new printers and wanted to stay with Epson because of ease of use (copy, scanning, printing). Seems as tank printers are the way to go these days. So I ordered the ET-4800. Got here in only a couple of days. Setup was pretty easy, just follow the instructions either via the documentation included or online version. I have pinted and scanned a color test page. I used the built in SmartScan feature without having to think about it much. I am quite satisfied with the results. By the way, there is no automatic two side printing. You actually have to get off your b---, take out the first printing, turn it over and refeed the stack. I was used to doing that with the old WF-520 and never had a problem. I will now set up a once a week, automatic scheduled printing task. I will just have to make sure there is paper on hand. Lack of use is the killer of these inkjet machines regardless of manufacturer.

The intensity of the higher DPI and other settings makes this a marvelous Printer.
Style: ET-4800, Color: White, Set: FAX/ADF/Print/Copy/Scan
I am a former Canon product user for years. I became disappointed two printers ago. Support is horrible. So, I ordered this Epson. Initially, because of the differences I was somewhat confused on the set-up; however, once completed, I can completely endorse this product. The printing is absolutely tops. The ink system is fantastic. AND, it has fax capabilities which I tested and works great. Can not say enough good things about it. I specialize in historical photo and documentation restoration - and this printer works GREAT.
