Hit 3g of BetaTOR® HMB-FA daily for real muscle recovery

Muscle Tech Clear Muscle keeps it simple for recovery and holding onto muscle—it's all about BetaTOR®, the free-acid version of HMB. This isn't some loaded pre-workout, pump chaser, or fake mass builder. The idea is straightforward: get HMB in a quick-absorbing free-acid form via liquid softgels, hitting that 3-gram daily dose from the studies when you pop 3 a day.

Each softgel packs 1,000 mg of BetaTOR® HMB free acid, so three get you to 3,000 mg total. HMB comes from leucine and helps keep your muscle protein in check, especially when training's brutal. It cuts down on muscle breakdown and speeds up recovery after tough workouts. The free-acid type absorbs faster than the calcium version, making it great if you time it around sessions. In real life, it means less damage from hard lifts, quicker bounce-back, and better muscle hold when you're pushing volume, intensity, or eating less.

Dose is key here. One softgel gives 1,000 mg, but the real deal from research is 3,000 mg a day. Treat this as a three-times-a-day thing, not a one-off. At full dose, it matches what studies show. Don't expect a big immediate feel—it's about building up: feeling less wrecked after back-to-back sessions, handling tough weeks better, and staying strong when recovery's tight.

MT Clear Muscle by Muscle Tech contains 1000mg BetaTOR®, a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 1,000mg BetaTOR® per softgel—that's the star here, the free-acid HMB this product's built on. Take 3 a day like it says, and you're at the 3,000mg level from HMB studies.
  • BetaTOR® is HMB free acid, not the calcium kind. It hits your system quicker, perfect if you want to time it right for workouts and get that updated HMB vibe.
  • 3 softgels daily nail the key HMB dose. Remember, one softgel is just a serving, but the proven amount is that full 3g—not half measures.
  • All about recovery, zero stims. No energy boost means it fits right with your pre-workout without extra caffeine overlap.
  • Helps keep muscle during rough training stretches. HMB shines when damage is high, like in big volume phases, getting back to it, or cutting calories.
  • Softgels make it easy to stick with. Way simpler than another powder to mix—real-world sticking power is huge for recovery stuff like this.
  • No hidden blends, everything's out there. You see it clear: 1,000mg BetaTOR® per softgel and 250mg betaine anhydrous per serving.
  • Betaine anhydrous adds a bit of backup, but let's be real—this isn't a full betaine powerhouse. HMB free acid is the main show.

Who Is This For?

  • Folks cutting calories who want to lock in muscle while dropping fat. BetaTOR® HMB free acid fits perfect for supporting protein balance when training and low eats risk losses.
  • Bodybuilders chasing hypertrophy with big volume, eccentrics, and constant soreness. Great for those who skip extra stims but need real recovery and muscle hold between lifts.
  • Strength guys in buildup phases where work piles up quick. Full 3g HMB-FA daily gives a focused fix for heavy session wear without stims or junk.
  • Athletes restarting after breaks, trips, or spotty training to ease the damage shock. HMB kicks in when muscle hits are high, making this spot-on for rebuilding flow.
  • Older lifters serious about recovery and non-stim muscle support. Softgels are a breeze, and it avoids harsh stims that mess with sleep or heart stuff.
  • People with creatine, protein, and pre already set, wanting a targeted add instead of another mix. Clear Muscle nails HMB free acid at the key daily dose when followed right.

How to Use

Take 1 liquid softgel 3 times daily for the full 3,000mg HMB free acid that makes this shine. Workout days, hit one 30 minutes before, then do the other two morning, afternoon, or night based on your flow. Swallow with water—no shaker needed. No stims mean no need to ease in, but less than 3 a day skips the research dose. Fine with or without food, though some like it with meals if empty stomach bugs them. Pairs great with creatine, whey, EAAs, and pre-workout—different lanes. No real cycling like with stims; keep it steady. Store cool and dry, and make your routine easy to follow daily.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: swallow the softgel with water and feel zilch—that's how it rolls. 10-40 minutes: still no big kick, since BetaTOR® HMB free acid isn't a stim and betaine at this level isn't noticeable. In the gym, a pre-timed dose might line up with uptake, but don't expect a surge. Days 1-7: focus on nailing daily doses. Weeks 2-4: here's the test—less soreness buildup, feeling ready sooner, and holding training quality in tough spots or cuts. It's a gradual recovery build, not a wow moment.

Key Ingredients

  • BetaTOR® — 1000mg per softgel, 3000mg daily as directed — Clinically aligned HMB-FA for muscle preservation and recovery

Frequently Asked Questions

How much BetaTOR® HMB does Clear Muscle provide each day?

Each liquid softgel provides 1,000mg of BetaTOR® HMB free acid. The intended full protocol is 3 softgels daily, which brings total HMB intake to 3,000mg per day—the standard dose most relevant to HMB research.

Do I take Clear Muscle only before workouts?

No. This product works best as a daily-use formula, not a pre-workout-only supplement. On training days, one softgel is typically taken about 30 minutes before lifting, but the full benefit depends on taking all 3 daily servings consistently.

Will I feel Clear Muscle right away?

Probably not, and that is normal. BetaTOR® is not a stimulant, so you should not expect a caffeine-like rush, pump, or tingling effect; the value shows up over time in recovery, training readiness, and muscle-preservation support.

Is the betaine dose in Clear Muscle clinically dosed?

Not as a standalone performance dose. Clear Muscle lists 250mg betaine anhydrous per softgel, which totals 750mg daily if you take 3 softgels; common betaine performance research is usually around 2.5g per day.

What makes BetaTOR® different from regular HMB?

BetaTOR® is the free-acid form of HMB rather than the calcium salt form. The free-acid version is generally discussed as having faster uptake and higher peak availability, which is why it is often used in more modern HMB-focused sports nutrition products.

Can I stack Clear Muscle with creatine and pre-workout?

Yes. Clear Muscle stacks very cleanly with creatine monohydrate, stimulant pre-workouts, whey protein, and intra-workout carbs because it does not overlap heavily with those formulas' primary roles.

Is Clear Muscle a good cutting supplement?

It can be a smart addition during a cut if your main goal is preserving lean mass and improving recovery support under reduced calories. It is not a fat burner, but HMB is often most interesting when muscle retention becomes harder.

Does Clear Muscle contain caffeine or stimulants?

No meaningful stimulant profile is present. This is a stim-free softgel formula centered on BetaTOR® HMB free acid for recovery and muscle support.

How long should I use Clear Muscle before judging it?

Give it at least 2 to 4 weeks of consistent full-dose use. This formula should be evaluated by how your recovery, soreness, and session-to-session readiness change over time, not by what you feel on day one.

Does Clear Muscle contain any allergens?

The label indicates it contains coconut ingredients. Anyone with coconut sensitivity should review the full label carefully before use.

Attractive
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Grey
The assembled product is just as described. The screens look great! I am using them to hide the cluttered shelving in my garage. The area now looks quite neat Something I must say, though, is that the assembly was extremely difficult. I had to use a silicone spray and some pounding to get the A and B poles to fit together. Also, it required a great deal of strength to stretch and hold the fabric panels so that the bars inserted in each hem lines up with the screws inserted in A/B poles. I strongly recommend having a partner to help with the assembly. while sc and screw into poles them once inserted intetchedtne end of each pole ( and B poles barely fit together. I used silicone spray on the end and then pounded them

Does the job, but assembling by yourself is a nightmare
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Black
Does it do the job? Yes, although as others said there are small gaps but it's not a huge deal. The price is also good. But the reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is simply because the assembly for this was a complete nightmare. I honestly don't think I would recommend this to anyone unless they have another person to help them assemble it, because doing it by myself was terrible. I don't think I'd buy this again, I think I'd opt to just spend a bit more money and save myself the trouble personally.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.

Great for using behind me on Zoom calls
Color: Black, Size: 1 Large Panel
This works great as a place to put tapestries behind me when I'm on Zoom calls... much nicer than blurring out the background. Easy to put together, large, works great.
