The Acoustic Energy AE309² is a precision-engineered slim-line floorstanding speaker with compact proportions that make it ideal for small to medium sized rooms. Incorporating an all-new cabinet structure and upgraded drive units, it delivers a significant step forward in performance across every area while retaining the outstanding value of its predecessor.

At its core are newly developed paper and coconut-fibre bass-mid drivers, created using research and insight gained from the CORINIUM project. These advanced drivers are paired with a completely redesigned soft dome tweeter, working together to produce greater clarity, improved dynamics and a more natural tonal balance. They are housed within a rigid 18mm constrained-layer RSC™ MDF and bitumen cabinet, engineered to minimise resonance and colouration, resulting in cleaner, more accurate sound reproduction. A rear slot-shaped duct port enhances low-frequency output and has been carefully tuned to reduce air turbulence, ensuring bass remains deep, controlled and free from distortion.

These speakers perform with both authority and finesse, making them equally at home in a dedicated two-channel system or as the front speakers in a home cinema setup.

Aesthetically, the AE309² combines clean, contemporary lines and is offered in a choice of walnut veneer or newly developed ‘silk-touch’ matte black and white finishes, each complemented by colour-matched trims and grilles with subtle screen-printed logos. Supplied with aluminium feet and protective spike covers, the AE309² is designed to integrate effortlessly into a wide range of interiors while remaining gentle on floor surfaces.
